The property

The interior of the property enjoys a bright and airy feel, and all the essentials you will need during a week-long stay.

Look forward to preparing delicious home-cooked meals within the spacious kitchen/diner, where you and your loved one can settle at the dining table to plan the days ahead over a glass of something chilled.

Beyond here, is the stylish sitting room, where can look forward to curling up on the plush sofa and tune into the TV before retiring to the well-presented bedroom which can be set up as a twin bedroom, or as one superking bed.

To the outside, you will find an enclosed garden with a lawn area and a BBQ for rustling up some summer treats for you and your partner to enjoy whilst soaking up the sun.

If you don't feel like cooking one evening, venture up the footpath on a small stretch of the Wysis Way to the Glasshouse Inn, where you will find an excellent country pub serving a delicious dining menu.

For any shopping essentials, only 4 miles away is Newent with a traditional butcher, baker, greengrocer as well as a pharmacy and a main supermarket for picking up the essentials.

To keep you busy whilst staying at Old Apple Store, venture to the city of Gloucester, where you can spend an afternoon exploring the shops and the attractions which include tall ships at the Dock, St Oswald's Priory, and the 11th century Cathedral with the tomb of King Edward II.

For those feeling adventurous, you will find miles of walking and cycle routes within the Wye Valley and the Royal Forest of Dean.

The Farm is on one of the famous Forest of Dean greenway routes designed for walkers, cyclists and horse riders.

One of the most attractive market towns in the Vale of Leadon, Newent, formerly a Roman settlement, offers a wide range of attractions, including the half timbered Old Market Hall dating back to 1668, traditional inns, restaurants, tea rooms and individual shops. Newent is situated on the northern edge of the magnificent Royal Forest of Dean, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, offering numerous trails that can be explored on foot, bicycle or horseback. Just a short drive away is the popular Three Choirs Vineyard and the delightful waterfront city of Gloucester with its Roman foundations, Victorian docklands and a spectacular Norman Cathedral.
