  • "Lovely quiet cottage."

Massive bedroom & bed - very comfortable. Good shower. Well equipped kitchen. TV works fine but loses volume when used with the DVD player. Small freezer but room enough for 2 people. Outdoor seating is a rather small as all you can do if you want the sun is sit in the chairs. When we arrived the fridge and dishwasher were turned off and it took us a while to work out which wall switch was which. Overall a very comfortable cottage.

I'm sorry that the appliances were turned off, that is annoying., I will mention to the housekeepers. I think the wall switches can be confusing. Glad you enjoyed the stay overall. Melanie Steele Property Owner

  • "A very comfortable and clean cottage in an interesting building with the fascinating old ruined chapel in a private garden next door."

Very large and comfortable bed! Good base for exploring the Cotswolds and Bredon Hill. Great we were able to bring our four-legged member of the family too. Note the description of the garden which is accurate - the fence bars are widely spaced, so unless you have a very obedient dog you will have to take them on a lead for trips to the garden.

  • "We had a lovely week at Chapel Cottage, comfy bed and sofa, kitchen adequate, we couldn’t get in until 5."

45 as the cleaners were still there, but fortunately although we had done a food shop at Waitrose on our way it wasn’t too hot so chilled food was ok. Fridge was not switched on and no milk supplied. Some cottages seem to provide the minimum in these Covid times, but a pint of milk and hand wash in the bathroom should be a minimum! Don’t be put off but do be prepared.

The team who had cleaned the property had done so superbly and the property contained everything needed for an excellent holiday...and close to Elmley Castle, Pershore and Bredon Hill as well!

  • "We arrived at the the time stated I."

E 4.30pm and let ourselves in to find that the property had not been cleaned. Dirty towels in a corner in the bathroom. Dirty bed linen on the bed, rubbishy the bin. The owner who is not responsible for the cleaning came across thousand said that the property was a 5pm start despite our instructions from you stating 4.30. We thenhad to vacate the property and at 4.50pm a group of cleaners arrived and left at 5.10pm. They stated that they have told you several times to change the start time to 5pm but you had not heeded their request. They obviously were having problems with their cleaning team but it was not a good start to our holiday. We have booked through you three times this year and did not pect to be greeted with a dirty property given the COVID restrictions. ApRt from that thestay was fine although Ava would have been gratefully received given the heatwave of the week.

  • "On arrival, the cottage was very clean, and smelt fresh."

The bed was comfortable The owner had put in some welcome items. The owners were friendly as were the local residents we met. Although the cottage was small and cosy, due to the way it was laid out, it was perfectly adequate for 2 adults and 1 dog. There was plenty of hot water There was an abundance of wild life. The cottage is in an ideal area for walking .

  • "We loved Chapel Cottage and would definitely stay again."

There were just a couple of things: An iron would have been useful - have never stayed anywhere that didn't have one. One of the bath towels had definitely seen better days and should not have been supplied to guests. I can't see why guests are being asked to arrive 2 hours later due to extra cleaning as I don't think anything further is being done. The hob and the mirrors were all dirty and I had to clean them myself. Only 1 black bag provided for rubbish. I requested another by text and was told this would be dropped off next day - nothing ever arrived though.

The interior of the cottage is brand new and super clean! The beds are comfy and cosy, the bathroom is the perfect size with a great shower/bath option. Such a good price for a lovely stay. They have given extra little touches that make it even better - flowers on the table, cake waiting for you. The bed was super comfy and sitting with my morning cuppa looking at a ruined chapel in the garden just made it magical. The people in the village were super friendly and very welcoming to us and our dog.
