  • "We stayed for 2 separate weeks in August as we were having noisy kitchen renovations done."

This is a lovely comfortable and peaceful bungalow to stay in, it was a wonderful sanctuary for us. We would not hesitate to stay again, and if we hadn’t been needed for consultation on the work we would have gone back again. Jean and John the owners were lovely, very helpful, hospitable and kind, many thanks to them.

  • "The property was excellent with great facilities the owners who live next door were very helpful but unobtrusive."

We received a generic email the day before leaving asking us to take off all bedding and leave in a pile in the bathroom, on discussing this with the owners they said they had no knowledge of this and asked us to leave all bedding in place and they would deal with it. A confusing instruction from Sykes!
