  • "We have stayed in many holiday Cottages over the years and this one is by far the best equipped."

My husband and I, our son, his fiancée and their 16 month old baby had a lovely holiday stay in this cottage. It was ideal for families and a good central base to explore the area. We especially like the fact it had a utility room where we could come in via the back door with our dogs, dry them off and put them straight into the dog room to thoroughly dry off before they joined us in the large kitchen/dining area. The dog room was an added bonus with 2 large dog beds and food/water bowls. We had a great holiday thanks to Fiona the owner making our stay more than comfortable and leaving a complimentary delicious afternoon tea for us to enjoy and basket of logs for the log burner.

She took trouble to make the cottage welcoming when we arrived. We always felt she put the guests first and everything was done to enhance our holiday. A fantastic week!

  • "Lovely cottage and central for all activities within Forest of Dean area."

Cottage is large and accommodated 3 dogs no problem with the added bonus of a dog den which was great for cleaning them after walks and feeding. Cottage supplied towels, bowls and even dog poo bags just incase which was great. Cottage is very comfy and has everything you would want and more. Good secure outdoor space for dogs complete with hose to clean the little rascles, also good walks straight from the door. Cream tea on arrival was a nice surprise and was lovelly. I would recommend and would stay again if in the area.
