Nestled in the picturesque hamlet of Childswickham, close to the popular Cotswold village of Broadway, is this stunning 1700s Cotswold stone property, Summer Hayes, sleeping five guests in three homely bedrooms.

The front door opens into the characterful sitting room which has an abundance of character and will give you and your guests a real homely feeling as you relaxing into the welcoming furnishings and get lost in a compelling novel, whilst the heat from the electric stove-effect fire keeps you warm.

The bright and spacious kitchen is well-equipped for rustling up a delicious evening meal, before you and your guests retreat to the wooden dining table in the stylish conservatory style dining room that is home to eye-catching and attractive quirky pieces scattered around and leads out to the garden.

Take the evening outside into the delightful courtyard garden that is brought to life with leafy shrubs and colourful flowers, home to two bistro tables and a charcoal barbecue, great for al fresco dining with friends and family.

You’ll find a double bedroom sat adjacent to the kitchen, which is handy for guests with limited mobility and sits next to a shower room with a walk-in shower.

Upstairs, you will find two eclectically decorated king-size bedrooms, one with an impressive Cotswold stone chimney breast and the other with an eye-catching gallery wall, sharing the floor with the family bathroom where you can enjoy an invigorating shower in the morning.

Once you’re ready for the day, head over to nearby Wayside Farm Shop and Tearoom for a delicious breakfast before enjoying a fun activity with your loved ones at Cotswold Clay Pigeon Shooting Ground and finishing off your day with a heart-warming meal at Childswickham Inn & Brasserie.

Close by Broadway has an array of art galleries, gift and clothes shops, three inns, a number of tea rooms and many more, retail therapy combined with good food and drink is to be enjoyed in Broadway, as well as Broadway Tower which is The Highest little castle in the Cotswolds and a real tourist attraction here.

In the nearby bustling market town of Chipping Campden there are many attractions and shops, you can take a leisurely walk around the 17th century Market Hall in the centre of the town and the East Banqueting House, just a little further on, or have a wonderful afternoon at Little Oak Vineyard, an award-winning vineyard where you can try and buy wonderful wines.

Train enthusiasts will be delighted with the light railway of Evesham Vale Light Railway, which operates in nearby Evesham Country Park and covers a mile through the park, including a lengthy section through the fruit orchards.
