“The property looked as thou it had been left for nature to take over cobwebs on the windows inside and out, the windows were not very clean inside and out .”

the cupboards were sent in a sloping ceiling with four hooks set in roof joists they were thick of spiders and cob webs. there were woodlouse crawling on the floor ,the sofa the springs must have gone as when you sat on it you sank down . the skirting needed a good clean we were very disappointed with this property having paid £551.00 for it

The property

Recorded in the Domesday Book, Weston Subedge lies at the foot of Dover's Hill.

Named after Robert Dover who organised his ‘Olimpick’ Games there from 1612, it is a well-known beauty spot with extensive views over the surrounding countryside.

Situated in the centre of the village - and just 2 miles from Chipping Campden - Barndown provides excellent accommodation for those looking to get away from it all. Overlooking open countryside and with far reaching views towards Dover's Hill, you will enter the cottage into a traditionally styled kitchen / diner. You will find all modern amenities, including gas hob and electric oven, washing machine and dining table and chairs for 4 guests. In the pantry you will find the microwave and fridge / freezer. Into the warm and welcoming lounge you again have far reaching views from the stone mullion windows. On the first floor you have the master bedroom with king size bed and a cosy room with twin beds. The family bathroom has bath with shower over, hand basin and w.c. Outside you have a small private terrace, and to the side a larger enclosed garden laid mainly to lawn. There is ample off street parking for up to 4 vehicles.

On the far side of Dover's Hill and just 2 miles away lies the pretty town of Chipping Campden, famous for its honey coloured limestone buildings, many of which date back to the 14th century. A little further afield lie the equally pretty towns of Broadway (3 miles) Stow on the Wold (11 miles) and Burford (21 miles).
