“The Barn and surrounding land is absolutely stunning!”

The perfect getaway for a big group of us with plenty to do inside and out. Communication with Sykes and the owners beforehand was great and Robin (the owner) was super helpful on arrival. The house was spacious and fantastically equipped. Thank yo for a wonderful stay!

“The Long Barn is the most fantastic venue for a family party.”

We were a family of 17 people ranging from 8 months to 86 years of age gathered together to celebrate my daughter's 21st birthday. The property is two connected barns both of which are very well equipped, warm and comfortable. The ovens coped amazingly well with catering for a large number of people and we found everything that we could possibly need in the very well equipped kitchens. Great to have so much space and lots of accommodation suitable for older people. A really lovely place, very enjoyable despite the rain!!

“The Long Barn is lovely.”

Both cottages have excellent kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms. This is the perfect venue for a party weekend with friends. One thing that we would change is the temperature in Dovecote Cottage - it was a little to warm! We would truly recommend staying here, and we would definately consider returning.

It is well furnished, and the two kitchen and living room areas, and plentiful toilets and bathrooms mean that you are not queuing up to use them. There is a nice big dining table, so you can eat together too. There are some good attractions to see locally.

“The cottage was excellent.”

Very clean, excellent standard of fittings and furniture. Very comfortable beds. Excellent kitchen facilities and space ample and easy to use. Beautifully renovated building with stunning features. The building was amply sized for our large family gathering. The big main dining area and table was perfect for us to all sit and eat together. This made the weekend very sociable and enjoyable. All of my family had an amazing weekend and everyone loved the cottage and garden. And the very friendly, athletic golden Labrador that visited us and entertained us was lovely. The property

The Long Barn is amazing, what a special place!

Actually a pair of large converted byre's, presented to the very highest standard with a mix of contemporary features and classic Cotswolds touches.

It is situated down a quiet lane in a pretty hamlet in the Southern Cotswolds, near to Tetbury, the home to some of the region's finest antique shops!

Although the properties are available independently, together they provide superb, spacious accommodation for large get-togethers for up to 19 people.

Internally the barns are both open plan and interconnecting, and include an enormous dining table for the all important evening meal!

About the location

TETBURY

Cirencester 10 miles.

Tetbury retains a wealth of character within its ancient streets. The town’s origins date back to 681, but it was during the Middle Ages that it flourished as one of the major markets for The Cotswold wool trade. Nowadays The Market Hall is still home to a busy general market every Wednesday, whilst the town as a whole is something of a mecca for antique hunters with several shops in the town and regular fairs in the vicinity. Closeby is the Forestry Commission’s Westonbirt Arboretum, one of the largest collections of rare shrubs and trees in Europe, whilst further afield (but still within easy driving distance) are the elegant Regency cities of Bath and Cheltenham, Shakespeare’s Stratford and other attractions such as the internationally renowned Slimbridge Wildfowl Trust.
