"A wonderful location, Well-appointed annex accommodation."
Beautiful pond view deck for evening drinks. The location is perfect for exploring Malverns, Cotswolds, Brecons, Cheviots. Found a wonderful Cider Barn 5 mins away and ate in local pubs a few times, all good. A lovely welcome and very comfortable. The location would be good for wheelchair access if required. We will come back. If you like a remote, picturesque countryside retreat; this is for you.
"Lovely holiday accommodation, overlooking a lake full of wildlife."
"Little Wedderburn House is in a beautiful location and grounds, with the friendly owners just next door in the main house."
The annexe provides very comfortable and easy accommodation, with a lovely view over the pond, and we loved our stay there, and would definitely recommend both the place and the hosts.
"Friendly and welcoming hosts."
Fresh flowers in accommodation. A very tranquil setting. The accommodation was warm clean and very pleasant environment to stay in.
"The cottage was excellent value in a beautiful remote location friendly and helpful owners."
Would thoroughlyrecommend to others.
"The cottage was wonderful - clean, well-equipped, and very cosy."
And the view out of the windows onto the pond are lovely. The area is well worth visiting, within easy reach of interesting places (e.g. Newent, Ledbury, Tewkesbury), hills to climb (e.g. May Hill), and only a fairly short drive away from the Malverns for some wonderful hill walks, and the Severn Way. We had a rainy start to our week, and avoided people, enticing shops and other attractions because of CovId, but still enjoyed a good holiday.
"Our second visit to Little Wedderburn was as excellent as our first visit."
Pippa and family are lovely hosts, location is beautiful and accommodation is simply the best. Clean and so comfortable with everything you need. I would also like to add that parking is ideal, especially for someone with limited mobility like myself. Can highly recommend this holiday let for a relaxing break or exploring the Cotswolds.
"Quiet peaceful location."
Slept so well. Comfortable and spacious with every thing you needed. Lovely to sit outside and eat breakfast and watch the ducks on the pond and to unwind on return.
"The house was very well equipped and very homely."
The area was lovely and the lady who owned the cottage was so helpful and accommodating. We would definitely go there again and recommend this cottage to others.
"We picked a particularly wet, cold and stormy week but were able to keep warm and cosy in the cottage with the lovely views over the pond."
Very comfortable facilities and loads of space. Owners were friendly and helpful when we arrived and were quite happy for us to put out some bird food on the table. We had lots of birds visiting from the moment we arrived. Thank you.
"Little Wedderburn House is well situated for visiting many lovely places."
We had a very enjoyable and peaceful stay. the owners are on hand in case any help is needed and they are very warm and helpful people. A lovely was spent by us at Little Wedderburn and if the opportunity arises for us to return we shall have no hesitation. we would recommend this for a peaceful week of holiday.
"Although the cottage was well situated for the area that's all I can recommend."
There were numerous spider webs situated about the place, which I had to remove,2 pieces of dog mess just off the decking outside lounge patio door. Only 1 wine glass, cutlery draw had dust in the bottom which we had to clean, grill pan had grease underneath rack. The freezer was on a rickety piece of wooden standing shelf, only 1 toilet roll plus a small amount. This was advertised as a no pet cottage yet there were 3 labradors running about the place , they could have really hurt someone if the collided with them. We have stayed in a few of your cottages but never in one like this, definitely not up to your usual standard
"As someone with a walking disability I found no problem at all moving around this well equipped cottage."
There was easy access to the lovely outside decking overlooking the pretty duck pond with lots of activity on the water.Pauline, the owner gave us a very warm welcome and with advice from her husband we found some beautiful villages to visit without travelling too far.Little Wedderburn is a cosy cottage set in lovely gardens in a beautiful part if the Cotswolds.
"This is a fabulous property."
The deck beside the duck pond - right outside the living room and bedroom - is perfect for unwinding on warm, dry days. The tennis court is a great asset, too. The property itself is plenty big enough for two, with a wardrobe each and a massive bathroom. Pippa is a friendly and helpful 'landlady' and the dogs are lovely to have around. This was our second stay at Little Wedderburn, which says a lot as we rarely make repeat holiday visits.
"Lovely relaxing location."
Good walking trails and 5 mile from Gloucester. there are no shops near so take the basics with you if you want a cuppa when you arrive. They have a three lovely dogs that will pop over to see you. it was lovely sitting watching the ducks on the pond in the morning. Totally relaxing break and will definitely be back
"Lovely location for peaceful Gloucester borders."
Accommodation is spacious and plenty of space outdoors too - quiet and rural. Gloucester, Malvern, Ledbury, Newent, Tewkesbury and Forest of Dean within easy reach - cycling superb too. Owners are about for local knowledge. Favourite spot: May Hill.
"It was very peaceful and quiet, very relaxing and had everything needed for a self catering holiday."
The owners were very helpful and friendly.
"Photos do not give this property justice."
Lovely hosts, beautiful location & stunning property & gardens. Holiday let was excellent. Spacious and private. Sofa chair and bed so comfortable, bathroom ideal for people like myself with limited mobility. Everything we needed in the kitchen, including freezer. Would highly recommend this holiday let. We have already booked for 2020.
"A good place for relaxing."
Owner welcoming and friendly.
"Had a brilliant two nights away at the Little Wedderburn House."
Made to feel really welcome it was like home from home but this was with some lovely views. Wish we could have stayed for longer, would definitely stay there again.
"I have already rebooked - it is a simple accommodation and as elsewhere reported homely."
"The cottage was perfect, a real home from home and very tranquil setting on the end of a duck pond."
Spotlessly clean and hosts were very kind and friendly!
"Its beautiful setting with patio doors in the bedroom and living room to take in the views."
"It would have been most helpful to have received details on how to find this property."
Had we arrived in the dark, we would not have found it. This is an excellent property in every respect - 5* plus. The surrounding area is beautiful and has so much to offer , Gloucester city was just amazing and being out of season was even more enjoyable.
"We really enjoyed our break but as it was for 2 weeks we would have expected a change of bedding and towels after the first week."
As the owners were on-site it could be argued that we should have asked - but this shouldn't be necessary. This can be published. This bijou annex was lovely, quiet, restful and lovely well-behaved dogs which just padded around the grounds. Beautiful gardens and outlook. Would definitely recommend.
"My partner and I found this cottage to be outstanding in location, off a private road, with amazing gardens."
fantastic view outside the patio area, looked onto a large pond with Coots and their baby chicks. Very quiet and relaxing and only a short distance from a large Garden Centre where you can get a nice meal. Pauline was a lovely host. I loved the donkeys and a pony in one of their fields. Great tennis courts.
