  • "Pat and Brian were the best of hosts, there when we arrived and very informative with regards the cottage and surrounding areas then left us to our own devices but we knew if we needed them they would be there."

The cottage was clean and well equipped with the welcome milk in the fridge and tea and coffee supplies for a much needed brew after our long drive with the added bonus of Pat's home made jam we had the following mornings. We both relaxed straightaway in the cosy cottage and lovely back garden. Very good local pub with excellent meals available all through the day.

  • "A very enjoyable stay at this compact but comfortable cottage."

The owner was on hand on arrival to greet us and showed us all the facilities which was appreciated. Great parking on the private drive right outside the cottage. The village is worth a stroll around as is a visit to the local pub. Plenty to see and do in the surrounding area and beyond. Pershore is very handy and a lovely place to visit as is the tiny hamlet of Wick.

  • "Perfect cottage for two people."

We couldn't think of anything that could have made it better. Pat and Brian are lovely considerate hosts. When it was really hot and none of the seating for the cottage had any shade, Brian brought round an umbrella and camping chairs so we could sit outside comfortably. The cottage stayed cool during the hot spell and the big fridge/freezer meant we had plenty of room to keep food and drink cold. Pat's jam was lovely and the eggs from the hens were delicious. We enjoyed every moment of our stay at the cottage, including the visit from the cheeky hen, and watching the hedgehog at dusk. The village is a great location for walking and for visiting numerous nearby National Trust properties. We also had a great day out on the steam railway from Toddington. Yes, you need a car make the most of the area, but you don't need to venture far to find plenty to do.

So pleased that you enjoyed your stay in our area and in The Cottage complete with visit from 'Mrs Posh' our chief hen! It's so nice when host and visitors get on so well. Thank you for your comments. Pat & Brian Property Owner

  • "A nice little cottage, we enjoyed our stay."

We were surprised to find the "extra" room with dresser and fridge, so the cottage had much more storage space than we'd anticipated. The weather was rather cold when we stayed (-7 in Pershore) and we struggled a little to make the house warm, especially the bathroom. We appreciated being able to get in the house at 3 pm rather than the prescribed 5pm, perhaps having to base plans around a 5 pm arrival was the worst aspect of the trip. All in all, we'd definitely stay again - clean, comfy and although it looks like you'll be forever overlooked by the owners, it was really very private.

Brian and Pat the owners are a lovely couple and nothing was too much trouble if i had any questions during my stay. The rear garden is also a very pleasant area to sit outside on those warm sunny days and evenings, i personally wouldn`t hesitate to book again for my next stay to the area.

Pat and Brian made us very welcome. The cottage is small and the ceilings are low, but the garden is lovely and the facilities all worked as well as we could wish. There are very good farm shops not far away, and good shopping of other kinds in Pershore (about 10 minutes' drive). We had a wonderful stay, and would recommend the Cottage highly for a couple looking for a base to explore the area.

Lovely cosy cottage, perfect for two. Spotlessly clean with everything you will possibly need, set in a beautiful garden which you are free to wander round (and visit the chickens). Private and secluded, with off road parking. The hosts supply lots of local information including many local walks, two of which we tried, fabulous. The pub at the end of the road is also very good and although they can't serve inside yet, they have marquees and heaters outside and we ate there several times. Beware the full english breakfast, it's enormous! We will definitely go back, if only to have more of Pat's amazing jam.

The Lovetts were so welcoming and absolutely charming, very quick to offer any, what I would have considered to be quite unnecessary, apologies - mostly relating to the entry drive which is awaiting restoration. The little annexe was so comfortable and quiet with every facility at hand. I was permitted, though I was careful to be discreet, to wander about their huge and most beautiful garden. And the location was out of this world - the most charming little village with an excellent, and very popular pub, nestling beneath the stunning Bredon Hill. I would not hesitate to award 5 plus stars to this venue which I will certainly visit again as soon as possible. Chris Bruce

Perfect size, nicely decorated and a very cosy vibe which is exactly what we were after. The sun sets right in front of the entrance where seats and a table are provided, you can see out in the garden from the snug upstairs bedroom, cook your own food in the kitchen and there's a parking space right next to the building too. We went to the friendly pub a few minutes walk away each night which sold restaurant quality food, had local ales and it's own gin menu. The minimal light pollution on the street gives an amazing view of the night sky on the walk home too, so much so we sat outside for a while once we got home on the first night! After visiting some of the nearby popular and more well known villages we were thankful just how quiet this cottage and village were and that we were away from the large crowds of people. An extra note that the hosts are very welcoming and added to the overall great experience of our trip. We hope to be returning here one day!
