  • "Cottage and owners first class."

A nice surprise was a dishwasher, which we hadn't spotted in the description. As with all the other appliances, it was top of the range. Ian and Gosia seem to take great care to act on suggestions as soon as they have been mentioned by their guests, which is very impressive. As previous reviews have indicated, the property was spotless and cosy when we arrived, along with a generous welcome pack. Christmas decorations were also a lovely touch for our December visit. Thank you both very much.

Dear Guests, thank you all so much for this wonderful and detailed review. We always strive to do our best for our guests to make their stay warm and welcome and as we've seen by this lovely feedback we are on the correct track! Thanks again from myself and Gosia and we look forward to welcoming you all back in the future! Property Owner

Dear Guests, thank you all for this lovely feedback that you've kindly left for us. Myself and Gosia strive to keep the property as clean and as comfortable as possible and we're very glad this has satisfied yourselves during your stay. The welcome pack is one of our long tried way's of ticking all the little boxes that some may forget to bring on their time away and again we're overjoyed that you enjoyed this also. Best welcome pack we have ever had in a property. One small point, a light on the stairs would be of benefit particularly for those of the grey hair brigade!

Dear Guests, thank you for this wonderful and positive feedback we really do appreciate it. Following on from your small point we have since installed some led sensor lights up the stairs that automatically light when it senses movement and have already received positive feedback in regards to this so thank you for bringing this to our attention! We're very proud of our personalised welcome pack and are overjoyed that you appreciated this touch. Thank you again from myself and Gosia and we look forward to welcoming you all back in the future! • "Our family of four adults and two grandchildren spent a long weekend at Robins Cottage in September 2023."

Situated on a fairly new housing estate, it was quiet and peaceful with access to a meadow with play equipment for children and the river just a stone’s throw away. The owners had left a welcome basket including eggs and an artisan loaf which was a very kind idea and much appreciated. Decorated to a high standard, the house was spotlessly clean and comfortable. We have never stayed in such a well equipped holiday home, there was absolutely everything you could possibly want. Evesham is a very nice town and the park just off the town centre is beautiful and well worth a visit as is a trip to Adam Henson’s farm, not far away. The only slight negative was not having car parking for a second vehicle but if we were in the area again, we would be delighted to return to Robins Cottage.

  • "Super venue as a base for visiting the Cotswolds and for that matter other midlands venues such as the village of Birmingham!"

The house is clean, comfortable and as described. Slightly strange road layouts in Evesham but not the houses fault (watch out for the one way systems which all seem to go the wrong way). I would have liked a little more light in the property particularly a stairs light and some more bright room lighting but this is horses for courses. What was there was more than adequate. We were three elderly travellers and it suited us well, Would be good for a family with little monsters also. One feature which is unique is that miraculously the grass gets cut when you are out for the day. I suspect leprechauns. All in all excellent for purpose.

  • "A beautiful, modern house which is full of the essentials for a family."

This is a perfect home from home to explore Birmingham or the Cotswolds. Evesham itself is a bit run down in places but has a wonderful train station to explore other quaint places nearby. I highly recommend Rixy’s tearoom in Moreton in Marsh. The hot chocolate was amazing and the food was delicious. Bourton on the Water is a little drive away and is a beautiful place to explore. There is definitely no chance of going hungry there! Back at Robins Cottage, we thoroughly enjoyed a very generous welcome pack which included the essentials (and more) required after a drive and also included an Easter treat related to the time of the year. The house was thoroughly cleaned and had plenty of space for a family. The living area may be tight for a larger party but absolutely ideal for a family of 4/5. I would recommend the owners to remove the very strong smelling accessories around the house to cater for guests with allergies/hayfever. Thank you a wonderful stay, a perfect base full of very thoughtful touches to explore the local area. :)
