The cottage is ideally situated, just off the A40, 3 miles outside Ross on Wye, giving access to the Cotwolds, Herefordshire, Brecon Beacons and South Wales - in just under an hour. An idyllic country retreat, with all the sights and sounds of the countryside, located in private grounds with ample parking. A very peaceful location. A great place to get away from everything, de-stress or have a romantic weekend! The owners have given every thought to providing all mod cons from washing machine, dishwasher, ironing board, everything, so it is a good base for exploring the area with somewhere secure to return. The cottage has been renovated from an unused property some years ago to a high standard accommodation with high quality furnishings to suit. Gas Centrally heated and very snug on cold nights. The owners live adjacent but do not interfere in your comings and goings and are polite and friendly. In fact we found all the locals in the area and beyond were extremely friendly. It must be the fresh air! There are various local walks and attractions locally within 5 miles and some recommended local gastro pubs of varying quality. No complaints and highly recommended.
