  • "We spent New Year 2021 here and it was just fabulous from start to finish!"

The welcome Prosecco and chocolates were a lovely touch! The house was so clean and the beds were super comfortable! It slept 11 of us perfectly and for a large house was very well heated! The hot tub is a super special touch and was just what we needed after a countryside run! Graham (the owner) was quick to reply to messages if we needed him and was very accommodating. The only downside was no sky or normal tv channels for the men to watch rugby. We had Netflix which was great for the children! On the whole it was such a perfect stay! My only tip would be to do a big online shop before you arrive, there aren’t any shops in the close vicinity and the pub which is walking distance wasn’t the best for food! I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family and we would most certainly return!! Thank you!!

  • "Had a wonderful 5 night stay at Longmynd just before Christmas to celebrate our eldest daughter’s birthday."

There was plenty of space indoors for 6 adults plus four children . We made great use of the hot tub during the evening. The views over the Severn were wonderful especially on my daughter’s birthday where we were greeted with a spectacular sunrise. There was plenty to do in the surrounding area including Dean Forest Railway and Puzzlewood which were particular highlights. Can also recommend the Severn and Wye Smokery for dining out. Thoroughly recommend!

  • "Amazing property, very spacious & comfortable with amazing views ."

The hot tub was great & the outdoor lighting was very pretty. Graham was on hand to answer any question we had & was really helpful in providing information about the area . The ziplink beds were fantastic for a group of ladies enabling us to all have our own bed . Graham contacted us prior to arrival to ask how we would like the beds arranged & everything was made up & ready for us. The welcome fizz & chocolates was a lovely touch . The only thing we thought could be improved was the bedside lighting, there were a few lamps but they seemed to be for show rather than practicality. The ones that worked were like fairy lights so no good for reading or finding your way to the bathroom during the night? Would definitely recommend this beautiful property.

Spotlessly clean. Spacious, tastefully decorated and high spec. Fantastic price. Loved it! ***Very highly recommended.*** Only down sides were the dryer was out of order (Im sure this will be resolved soon) and directions were a little difficult to follow- but I may have missed something (the property us right next to the Minsterworth Waterski club)

The views are amazing! We were completely blown away! So lovely to sit out in the garden and enjoy the hot tub. The beds were so comfortable and the kitchen was amazingly equipped. We had the best week and will definitely be back! Graham was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We appreciated the welcome bottle of Prosecco:)

Great location by the river Severn and if you’re as lucky as us you’ll see a ‘bore’ which is a natural wave phenomenon. The place is comfortable and relaxing which is what we needed.

  • "This place was perfect for a group of friends to meet up and relax for the weekend."

The location is peaceful and the local shops aren't too far of a drive away. The owner was excellent in reaching out before to ask how we'd like the beds set up and was always on call to answer any of our questions. The place had a modern yet cosy vibe and it was easy for us to feel relaxed and at home for 4 days. I would happily return here in the future and 100% recommend to people. It truly did exceed our expectations.

His local knowledge was great. The property is absolutely stunning, with fantastic views across the river. A lot of work had clearly gone into making sure the property was clean and ready for us to enjoy. Beds were really comfortable, the chocolates and basics such as tea and coffee provided were a really nice touch. A fantastic place to get away and enjoy a trip to The Forest of Dean / Cotswolds. • "We had the perfect weekend in this amazing house."

It was a very comfortable size for our party of eleven and beautifully presented. As the weather was so nice we were able to sit on the balcony and enjoy the views across the river. It was very light and airy with plenty of space and very well equipped. We all loved relaxing in the hot tub. Graham was brilliant at communicating with us before we arrived with suggestions of where to go and places to eat. He also knew it was an 80th birthday celebration and left a balloon with 80 on it along with sweets etc, which was such a kind gesture and really made the experience special. We couldn’t fault anything, just wish we could have stayed longer.
