"What a beautifully-appointed, spotlessly clean and well-equipped cottage, we've really enjoyed staying in 'Oma's Cottage'; it's been a perfect base to come home to after busy days exploring the wonderful Cotswolds!"
The parking space and little garden behind the cottage were much appreciated, as were the Welcome gifts on arrival.
Little Compton is so peaceful and quiet, off the main busy 'tourist hot spots' and the Red Lion was a lovely pub for a meal out.

"We really enjoyed our break at Oma's Cottage."
It was spotlessly clean and tidy and very well equipped. It's within very easy reach of lots of beautiful villages and the local pub does a great Sunday lunch.

"Oma’s Cottage was lovely, recently renovated ,and very comfortable."
The host Betina had thought of everything we might have needed for our stay away from home. We enjoyed the very quiet village location but also perfectly situated for day trips to the Cotswolds sights.

"We had a lovely week at Oma's cottage."
The cottage was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped and was easy to cook a meal in. Really good location for visiting the surrounding area. We ate a few times at the local pub (The Red Lion) less than a 2 min walk from the cottage. This is a traditional pub with large portions, very friendly staff who gave a very warm welcome each time.

"We loved this cottage."
It was perfect for exploring the North Cotswolds area, located in the quiet village of Little Compton. Oma's cottage was spotlessly clean and well furnished with high quality fixtures and fittings and equipped with everything you would need on a relaxing break. It has a private garden with evening sun where you can enjoy a drink and is only a short walk from the local pub. We also appreciated having our own designated parking space. We wouldn't hesitate to revisit this cottage or recommend it to other couples.

"Had a wonderful stay in Oma's cottage."
The location is perfect for exploring the Cotswolds but then to return to the peace & tranquility of the cottage and garden where all you can hear are the birds tweeting. The cottage is beautifully furnished with everything you may need to self cater if you want to. We did use the local pub a couple of times in the village. It was very friendly and served good food.

"It has been one of the best holiday cottages we've ever had!"
Much space for two persons .The cottage is extremely cosy. The kitchen and bathroom meet higher modern standards . The garden could be a little bigger and 2 comfortable deck chairs would be nice. We recommend this cottage for anyone who wants a longer holiday in the Cotswolds!

"Absolutely gorgeous cottage with everything you could possibly need."
We stayed for week 2 of our honeymoon and it did not disappoint us….it offers peace, tranquility, comfort, and a gorgeous setting in a beautiful little Cotswold village. The village pub offers great food and a warm welcome (Sunday lunch was amazing!) and you can even see deer from the bathroom! Will definitely return at some point!

"Absolutely beautiful cottage."
So homely, comfortable and cosy. We have been very settled! Extremely well placed for all the best villages and areas of the Cotswolds. One small suggestion would be a light coloured blind at bathroom window as you need to close the curtains and put the light on for privacy.
We would definitely recommend and return. We have had such a lovely holiday at Oma’s Cottage.

"We really enjoyed our week in Omar’s Cottage."
During a week of snow, sparking frost and winter sunshine, the cottage was wonderfully comfortable, warm and generously equipped with everything we could have needed. "A lovely place to stay."

We enjoyed our stay immensely
It was lovely+cosy and we felt extremely relaxed...
We had one problem + it was attended
to immediately by the owner.
Instant solution!
However we did think 5.00pm entry was very late. Especially in winter when the light reduces at 4.00pm in December, and we were looking for the key holder in the dark!
Oma's Cottage is in an unlit village.
We felt an earlier admission would have been helpful to find the particular gatepost! We felt quite a few!
Otherwise it was perfect.

"What a beautiful cottage!"
This property has been refurbished and prepared to the highest standard.
Everything that could be was catered for - even a bluetooth speaker.
We had a most stress-free visit to the Cotswolds, it was so lovely to stay at Oma's Cottage, so peaceful. We even detected an Owl which was a treat for us.
It was also nice to meet the owner Betina and the housekeeper Ruth, who are lovely people.

"The cottage was perfect, and has everything you could need."
It's also in a great location nearby loads of beautiful places. You can get to almost everywhere within 20 minutes.
Perhaps the only negative for us was just how many other people were coming and going. The cottage is nestled between a few houses and a business school digs for the students, with one gravel driveway leading them to all, so more cars than we were expecting. Perhaps we are more used to staying at places a little more secluded, which we appreciate isn't going to be the case in the Cotswolds, but the listing is perhaps a little misleading with regards to the mount of 'stuff' in the immediate vicinity. That said, people were always respectful and no one was especially noisy! It's just something to make people more aware of.

"Wow! The cottage far exceeded our expectations… every room looked like it had stepped off the pages of an interior design magazine."

"The property was very comfortable and well equipped and we had a lovely holiday."
We especially liked the coffee-pod machine, the walk-in wardrobe and the modern shower. We also appreciated the provision of a book about the beautiful Cotswold villages and a giant framed map of the area, both of which were great for planning outings. . The owner was very helpful and accommodating in sorting an issue over a microwave and was nice to deal with. I would happily recommend this property.

"This is a beautiful cottage, well furnished and extremely comfortable."
We could not fault it, the kitchen was well equipped, the bed comfy, and a great shower. It was very welcoming to have makings for a hot drink and biscuits on arrival and fresh flowers, and lovely to be left a bottle of fizz as were the first guests! There is a lovely little garden which was nice to enjoy a cuppa in and will be delightful in summer evenings.
We had a great stay, lots to see in the area and great circular walks straight from the door, it was lovely to come back to a warm and comfortable home as the weather was chilly. We love the Cotswolds and look forward to visiting again in the future.
