  • "Peaceful and remote."

Lovely shower and comfy beds. Lacked a few essentials like enough electric sockets upstairs and garden furniture as shown in pictures. Dog loved the space and really enjoyed the treats provided. Path around cottage requires attention.

  • "We had a brilliant week in the cottage."

Very clean and comfortable. The beds are so comfortable. Everything that you would need. There were treats on arrival for both humans and dog. The garden was secure so Barney the dog) was able to be in the garden without worrying he would escape. Lots of places locally to visit and had a lovely sunny week. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

  • "We had a week booked at Manor Farm Cottage, a barn that was converted to a 2 bedroomed cottage in the 1950s."

The view from this place was just utterly amazing. For those that know me - I don't generally like being in the kitchen cooking... but I loved staring out the window and gawking at the ever changing scenery at this place! The rooms were lovely and spacious and the beds great for a fab nights sleep. Mattress right up our alley. The lounge was also nice. It did not have an open fire, but did come with an electric one giving the illusion of burning logs. WiFi was excellent and on the very few occasions where we lost signal, we mostly had 4G or 5G at 3+ bars on our mobiles.... a game changer from previous places we have stayed at. On arrival we were greeted with a home made poppyseed bread, some coconut biscuits and a pint of milk for the humans. In a dog bowl there was a few packets of treats for the furball. Lots of pamphlets detailing activities and interests in the surrounds and neighbouring counties. Also loved that they had a few basics at hand - oil, salt and pepper, tea, coffee, sugar, some dishwasher tablets and some washing machine pods. Whether you looking for a place to spend a few days exploring Worcestershire and Gloucestershire or the Malvern Hills, or if you there for work and want a home away from home.... we highly recommend this place!

  • "We were very pleased with the property, very clean, equipped well, well enclosed garden for dogs and lovely owners."

We felt the price was aimed correctly. Improvements would be more electrical sockets, to fix the catch on the kitchen door to stop dogs going through onto carpeted areas and to fit double glazed widows in the bedrooms (which were quite noisy when the wind really blew).

All self contained with plenty of space. The welcome packs were great and it has everything that we needed for the first night. The beds were particularly comfortable. This is the perfect place for dog friendly families that want a base to visit the beautiful Cotswolds.

  • "PLUS points."

.. spotlessly clean, lovely outlook, very central so didn't have to travel too far, wonderful walking area for dog, lovely welcome pack which included fabulous doggie treats, wonderful shower, outdoor space brilliant... fenced off so no problem leaving the dog outside to have a run around, Alison really friendly and always around if needed. MINUS Points ... freezer very small, Television needs upgrading to a smart TV, downstairs toilet needed, toaster should be a four slice not 2 slice, we managed as only 2 of us but if 4 would be a bit of a nuisance. Saying all of the above we thoroughly enjoyed ur stay and had a really relaxing break, thank you Alison

Worcester 12 miles; Great Malvern 6 miles; Tewkesbury 6 miles; Cheltenham 18 miles.

The pretty country town of Upton upon Severn lies on the banks of the River Severn and boasts a variety of delightful 17th century buildings and attractive shops, including 'The Pudding Shop', along with traditional inns, cafes, restaurants and its very own museum. It also plays host to many annual festivals, including Jazz, Folk and Blues Festivals, as well as the Sunshine Music Festival. This thriving small town has its own marina, a vineyard and well-stocked farm shop at the local fruit farm, plus the town’s medieval church, which is now a Heritage Centre, is topped by a striking 18th century cupola, known locally as 'The Pepperpot'. Just 6 miles away is the beautiful Worcestershire town of Malvern, and the dramatic Malvern Hills. An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the Malvern Hills offer 100 miles of footpaths and bridleways, and form a 9 mile range of ancient rock. The Great Malvern Food Festival in June is well worth a visit, as are the many events at the Three Counties Show Ground and the Malvern Theatre, which welcomes productions from the West End and the Royal Shakespeare Company. There are many National Trust properties, vineyards and gardens in the area, as well as outdoor activities to suit all abilities. The nearby market towns such as Ledbury and Tewkesbury have a wealth of black-and-white houses and inns. A little further afield is the Royal Forest of Dean, the historic waterfront city of Gloucester, the spa town of Cheltenham, and the unspoilt towns and villages of the Cotswolds.
