  • "This is a fantastic property for up to 12 people who are happy to make their own entertainment- it’s a little remote (nearest village/pub about 45 mins walk), so own transport is essential."

Some great spaces for relaxing and playing (record player with good selection of LPs mainly suiting 40-70 age group) was nice to find. Large kitchen /diner is perfect for meals, plus large lawn was great for yoga and kids games. WiFi pretty poor, but plenty of games and v good book collection.

  • "The accommodation was amazing!"

Everything was perfect! Such a lovely home. After a tough year it was so nice to be able to come and relax. They had provided walking directions to some pubs which was so helpful. Great value. Couldn’t have been any better!

  • "A lovely property, tastefully furnished and with plenty of space for a large family."

We loved the gardens and the facilities for the children were brilliant. Our grandchildren (all under 4) spent most of their time in the garden, playing in the sandpit, climbing frame or trampoline. There was also an excellent selection of toys which the wee ones played with, making it a more relaxing and enjoyable holiday for the adults! We would come back here for a holiday again.

  • "Absolutely amazing place, we didn’t want to leave!"

By far the best place we have ever stayed.

    SallyJul 2019

  • "A fantastic property with loads of space to accommodate our group of 12 people."

Great location, in a quiet rural setting with superb views, yet only a very short drive to Stow, the Slaughters and Bourton on the Water. We enjoyed the added benefit of a lovely 30 min walk directly from the front gate across the fields to the pub in Naunton

  • "We loved our stay at The Ox Barn!"

The home is beautiful, every last detail is simply perfect. Kitchen is great for cooking, beds are cozy, garden is lively! The location is ideal for exploring the Cotswolds. Highly recommend.

  • "We had a lovely Easter break at the ox barn."

The accommodation is beautiful and spacious and set in the quiet countryside. All of the beds are comfortable and there are plenty of bathrooms. The grounds are idyllic and the kids thoroughly enjoyed the trampoline and slide and generally just running around. There were an abundance of toys for them to play with. It was so nice that we didn't even feel the need to leave the accommodation to go out for the day! Lovely touches were the abundance of toiletries in all the bathrooms and some fresh flowers. Overall a beautiful country retreat which felt like home. The kitchen was extremely well equipped, we particularly liked the Aga and the panoramic windows giving a view of the gardens. With cushioned window benches and a large table, it's a great place for a nosh.

  • "This is really a stunning property in a beautiful location."

It is extremely quiet and quite rural although there is a very pleasant walk to the pub in Naunton. The house offers everything you could need and is immaculately clean. Pretty Cotswold villages are a short drive away and there is information available detailing local amenities. Thoroughly recommend this fabulous house.

  • "12 members of our family aged 5 to 76 got together for our daughter's 30th birthday, the Ox Barn was a great space for all of us - rooms to chill for the adults, lots of games, toys and a wonderful pedal car for the children."

Delightful beds. Just a great space. Thank you for all the hard work put in to getting us there on Friday, as at one point it was touch and go. We all really appreciated it as it had been planned a while ago. And finally, the daffodils were a wonderful touch. Thank you.

  • "I cannot ever remember staying in a house that was so blooming enormous while being completely homely and welcoming at the same time."

Ox Barn is clearly occupied by a very happy family as is evidenced by portraits, photos and boxes of toys arranged by age. However someone has a keen sense of interior design, too, and we grownups found much to delight the eye and mind (fab curtain fabrics and well stocked book shelves). The vast kitchen is light, airy and superbly equipped; the sofas in the sitting rooms were invitingly sink-in-able; beds were comfy, linen was tip top, Netflix worked (as did wifi) and the local pub offered a stalwart selection of favourites to suit everyone from vegans to trenchermen. Our party (of five adult friends) are super grateful that our hosts are of generous spirit and allowed us to enjoy their home. We hope we left it in good order so they let us return...
