!!! We didnt want to leave! - With beautiful surroundings! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay , walking for miles with our two dogs, over the hills of malvern and around the beautiful countryside. We went to the some of the local pubs not far from the cottage who where all so friendly and the food was nice. Then coming back to relax in the cottage. The dogs enjoyed the enclosed garden as we enjoyed sitting in the sun. There was a thoughtful carepack when we arrived at the cottage for both us and the dogs to enjoy , adding a special little touch. The cottage was cleaned to a very high standard and so we'll equipped! 100% recommended and we will most definitely be booking again. Thanks again Rachele!

    The wifi however worked fine.

Unfortunately, as the cottage is in a rural location some networks will experience little or no signal. However, most networks do offer wifi calling and this just needs to be selected in your phone settings to enable it. You will then be able to make and receive calls via wifi. • "What a stunning cottage!"

As holiday cottage owners ourselves, we are quite picky, and our only negative comment is that there wasn't a lot of storage space for the food we took. There was a very generous welcome basket waiting for us on arrival, as well as one for the dogs. It was lovely being opposite the common for dog walks, although because of free-roaming sheep we couldn't let the dogs off the lead. But the garden to the cottage more than made up for that as it was really big and totally secure. Lovely to have the sitting-out area with comfy seats and a sun umbrella. The kitchen was really well equipped and it was good to have 2 separate seats in the living room. The king-size bed was really comfy and the hanging space very ingenious. Great to have so many hangers too. The bathroom was excellent, with a bath as well as a shower and plenty of shelf space for toiletries. Would definitely recommend this lovely cottage.

Thank you both for all of your positive comments. I took your point about space for food storage on board and have re-arranged things so there is some free cupboard space. Very happy to hear you enjoyed your stay. Property Owner

There is everything you need for a comfortable, relaxing stay and the garden is fully enclosed/fenced if you're bringing a Dog with you too. The kitchen is well laid out, plenty of space and a large Lounge. It's deceptively spacious. There is a road that runs beside the Cottage but it's a quiet 30 mph road and we didn't notice any noise from traffic. Fantastic hot shower, massive bed, handy utility room and log burner if the evenings are cold. Underfloor heating is a gem first thing in the morning. We had a great stay here and we will definitely be looking to go back.

Thanks so much for all of your lovely comments and for such a thorough review. Look forward to welcoming you back at some point. Property Owner

It's a stunning cottage that had been beautifully and lovingly restored and has everything you could possibly need, making it a home away from home. A list of the local supermarkets etc are provided in the visitors guide, including the contact details for the local doctors surgery, dentist or vets if you require them. The nearest town, Ledbury, is a short drive away through the Malvern Hills, passing through Eastnor and it's castle, and the fields on the other side of the road are lovely to walk around - but watch out for the sheep! The bench at the top of the hill is a very pretty place to sit and watch the world go by, with views of Ivy Cottage and the surrounding farmland. As for the host - she was faultless. She kept us informed and up-to-date with everything. She has created a wonderful holiday cottage and made our stay unforgettable. The little touches made it even more special. My boyfriend and I felt very lucky to have been the first guests to stay at Ivy. We have made many memories there and have fallen in love with it. It was very hard to leave! But we will definitely be returning soon. We're sure you'll love Ivy Cottage as much as we do.
