The property

The Granary rests on the fringes of the Cotswolds AONB, just outside the village of Shurdington.

Bursting with traditional charm and in close proximity to outdoor opportunities and fascinating places, this is a superb getaway for groups of 4.

With exposed beams, a TV and a dining table featuring the sittingroom is a fine spot for some quality time.

After an exhausting and scenic trek, put your feet up in front of the alluring woodburner.

Nearby comes the slick kitchen, an immaculate layout with white fittings and a useful range of appliances.

Head upstairs to find the two well-presented bedrooms which both include a TV; the king-size master bedroom, and also the twin room which is perfect for children or extra guests.

This wonderful accommodation is topped off by a family shower room, tiled with style and offering a double walk-in shower.

Take some time to relax in the back garden, cook up a storm on the BBQ or simply relax with a drink.

You also have access to 20 acres of the owner's peaceful paddocks (horses and sheep) for a calming summertime stroll.

You will find two excellent pubs serving food and ale.

The Cheese Rollers Inn takes its name from the unique cheese rolling competition on nearby Cooper's Hill.

Both the city of Gloucester and the town of Cheltenham offer much to ensure a memorable day.

Nearby Cheltenham is host to many festivals, including; music, literature and the famous Cheltenham horse racing festival whereas Gloucester is home to the wonderful development Gloucester Quays and Docks.

Admire striking architecture and keep the whole group occupied with a number of attractions to suit all tastes.

Keen walkers can explore the Cotswold Way, an expanse of picturesque walking paths, meandering around an abundance of characterful villages and market towns.
