"A lovely cottage in a lovely part of the country."
Plenty of walking locally and in a short distance by either car, train or bus. Our hosts were very helpful and friendly. Would not hesitate to recommend this cottage to others.

"The cottage was great."
Newly painted and spotlessly clean.
The owners were pleasant and very amenable.
Position was lovely and convenient for the town and railway station.
It was slightly uphill which could be a problem for some.
All in all a very pleasant place

"We found this lovely little lodge to be very pleasant for our family (2 adults, 2 teenagers and 2 dogs) for our short stay in Ledbury."
The landlady was so helpful with regards arrival time and we found the lodge to be clean with some very thoughtful touches (kids were impressed by the nice biscuits and crisps that were waiting for us). The location was excellent as it was only a short walk to the station, to the town, and up the hill into the woods. We did find the advert to be slightly misleading as we thought we’d have an orchard to walk round but were told that wasn’t part of the property. However there was a small garden area for the dogs and the woods were 2 mins away as mentioned already. We personally wouldn’t choose to stay again as a whole family because our teenagers were really too old for the bouncy bunk beds and we would prefer 3 bedrooms if we stayed away again, but if you have younger kids, or are a couple on your own, this would be absolutely fine. If hubby and I were venturing off on our own with the dogs we’d come back to this lodge for sure. The sofa in the living room was really comfy, the outlook is very pretty and we had no WiFi problems contrary to the reports of other guests.

"Lovely little cottage perfect for us- 2 adults and a toddler."
We particularly enjoyed watching the rabbits, sheep and lambs just outside the back windows, running through the orchards and bluebell forest on the hill behind the cottage and a glass of wine in the spring sunshine with the blossom in the orchard at the front of the cottage.

"Great little cabin in a beautiful setting with sunny aspects all day."
Comfortably slept and seated 2 adults, 2 children and 1 dog for the week. The previous bad review is not justified. The owners are very pleasant, helpful and give freedom in their grounds willingly. Ledbury, local walks and the Malverns all really accessible. We had a fab week and were very lucky with the weather.

"I have already made a complaint regarding this property, the reference is COR-188414-CF."
You will find photos of the property attached to the compaint which was not as we expected and certainly was not worth the £140 per night price tag. Very disappointing too that I have not had a response from Sykes to my complaint after I have also called for an update too ?? Our overall experience was upsetting and made a well earned holiday come to an abrupt end due to the poor quality accommodation definately not as described on the internet - overrated & overpriced ! Compensation would be appreciated.......
We are sorry to hear that you were unsatisfied with the accommodation but also somewhat surprised. As previous feedback, both online and in person has generally been that it is a very nice, clean and comfortable cottage. This property can accommodate up to 4 people and 2 dogs and the price at that time for the 3 night stay that was booked was £93 per night inclusive and consider this to be a fair price for this accommodation. "This is good for 2 people, it would be very cramped with more."
Internet connection is not very good as it comes up from the main house - OK outside if it is not raining. The advice on the dogs is confusing, there are no longer any free range chickens! A good spot on the edge of town with walks starting close to the cottage. We had a good time.

"Everything at the cottage was as described in the advert made more enjoyable with the arrival of spring lambs in the fields behind the cottage ."
We were able to walk to the station for trips out if we didn’t want to take the car. Tesco and a petrol station was also very close. The only drawback with the cottage was the WiFi, the first two days were OK but after that we were frequently told the password had changed ,it was possible to connect on and off but if you need to stay in touch and do not have phone access this is not for you.

"A beautiful location with easy walking into Ledbury town or into the countryside."
Can walk to excellent subs and a large supermarket.
The railway station and bus stop are nearby (5 minute walk) so a car is not essential.
Very friendly owners who were there for information but were inconspicuous!
Would recommend this cottage for a week. Not having a washer/dishwasher might be inconvenient for a longer stay.
Views from the cottage and from the private patio area were exceptional.

"Nice cottage, very clean and warm and well equipped."
It backed onto a field where we could let our dogs out when the sheep weren’t in it. Great for a couple/family with small children but would be quite snug for four adults. Very convenient for Ledbury town centre and the Malvern Hills are only a 15 minute drive away and there is a large Tesco just down the road. Would recommend.

"We were absolutely delighted to stay in Orchard Cottage from our arrival when we were greeted by Kerry right through to our departure."
Kerry and her husband Steve have provided a perfect cameo of a holiday cottage which is very well equipped, warm and comfortable . The location is delightful, being in the grounds of their house amidst gorgeous countryside ; we were constantly enthralled to see sheep grazing outside the kitchen window in a field frequented by pheasants and three hens wandering in the orchard daily.
It is only a short walk into Ledbury centre which is steeped in history . We took our Fox Terrier on great walks locally and around Malvern as well as villages nearby.
We look forward to returning to Orchard Cottage.
