  • "The cottage was a very good place to relax, especially as, in this time of C-19 restrictions, we were much less inclined to visit busy places in the way we would have done previously."

The outdoor seating areas gave stunning views across the countryside towards the Malvern Hills in one direction and the Welsh mountains in the other. The cottage was well supplied with equipment, and was very comfortable. Sally and Les, the hosts, were very welcoming and available if we had needed anything.

. The location was superb, great for fabulous walks and sightseeing and central for visiting many locations. The cottage was immaculate in every way and very spacious for a one bed, all fixtures and fittings were of great quality and the bed was extremely comfortable .Even though our weather was hit and miss we had an amazing time, we enjoyed it that much we booked another holiday there before we left to come home. Thank you Les and Sally for an amazing 1st class holiday.

  • "This cottage was superb in every way."

The comfort, lovely decor and homeliness that Sally and Les have created is the best we have experienced in a holiday cottage. We couldn't think of anything that had not been provided for. Added to that, fantastic views, a great location for Forest of Dean and Wye Valley, and the knowledge we only had to call next door, if we needed anything (which we didn't!) means this accommodation is a must if you want to see the area. Oh, and the few essentials and wonderful marmalade and cream tea was the icing on the cake. Thank you so much, and we will definitely rebook if we come down this way again.

We hope to return in the future.
