The property

A stunning detached cottage perfectly located in Alderton Grange in the heart of the quintessential English village of Alderton, equidistant from Evesham, Tewkesbury and Cheltenham on the edge of the Cotswolds.

Beautifully furnished throughout to provide spacious, contemporary accommodation, this cottage is ideal for a holiday with family and friends in this unspoilt part of the country.

The quality and charm is evident as you enter the hall which leads to a cosy snug, ideal for watching a film or should a member of the group wish to take a games console.

The main sitting room is to the right of the hallway and offers sumptuous leather sofas, a Smart TV and doors to the rear garden.

The impressive kitchen has everything the chef of the party needs to prepare a celebratory dinner with a dining area complete with a table to seat all guests.

There are also doors from here to the rear garden.

Climb the stairs to the four luxurious bedrooms, with the master bedroom boasting an en-suite shower room.

All of the bedrooms offer crisp white bed linen ensuring a good night's sleep for everyone.

The rear enclosed garden has a patio area, a great space for enjoying family garden games or relaxing with a good book.

The village has a 16th century thatched inn serving real ales and home cooked locally-sourced food, together with a well-stocked village store and Post Office.

For guests with children, a playing field with play area is just across the road from the cottage.

Alderton is perfectly located for exploring the attractions in the area, Stratford-upon-Avon the birthplace of William Shakespeare, the waterfront city of Gloucester, numerous unspoilt Cotswold towns and villages and the many activities in the Forest of Dean.

It has a 16th century thatched village pub offering home cooked meals and real ales, and a village store and Post Office stocking locally sourced produce. Close by is the ancient Saxon town of Winchcombe with inns, restaurants, tea rooms and individual shops, many full of character.
