“A lovely location for a family get together.”

We really enjoyed our stay. Lovely spacious bedrooms with crisp clean sheets and duvets. A generous welcome basket of bread, butter, honey, fresh eggs, a three tiered gorgeous lemon cake and cookies! Plenty of milk and thoughtful essentials. The reception rooms and kitchen were of good size and had lovely wood burners with all you need to hand, to get a roaring fire going. Showers and bath had excellent water pressure and were enough for our party of 16. We made good use of the very convenient ...

We made good use of the very convenient pub across the road, who had friendly staff and local recommendations. It is useful to know there are a number of steps up to the house, if travelling with people with mobility issues. There are beautiful and convenient walks by the river or up to where the old viaduct was. Conveniently placed for symonds yat, a short drive away. Great for dog owners. All that you need was supplied. Would definitely recommend.
