  • "We were looking for a place smack in the centre of the cutest Cotswold's villages such as Burton on the water and Stow on the Wold, walkable on back trails to Daylesford Farm (OMG), adorable inside and out in a traditional cottage with modern amenities with high end towels, parking, walkable to a pub, but yet private without endless tourists walking by ----AND WE FOUND IT!"

This place was perfect. We curled up by the wood stove and walked about the cute village. Thank you so much for the quintessential Cotswold experience.

Great location to explore the Cotswolds by car (cannot speak for public transport as did not take it) with lots of lovely towns around 15 mins away and then under 1hr drive to bigger places such as Stratford-upon-Avon & Oxford. Would definitely recommend.

  • "Rose Walk Cottage was fantastic, very clean, had all the amenities we needed."

It is very cosy and homey, and a place where you can truly relax. The village itself is very pretty and it is very well located. It is only a 10min drive from Daylsford farm (which offers great food) and also a short drive from many of the Cotswolds picturesque villages. We are definitely planning to come back to Rose Cottage and could recommend it more.

  • "The cottage is a really fantastic little base for a Cotswold getaway."

It’s ideally situated within easy walking distance of 2 excellent pubs and for the nearby towns of Stow on the Wold and Bourton on the Water. However, it’s equally well positioned for local walks and just a quiet relaxing escape. Would whole-heartedly recommend a stay at this lovely little cottage with the chance to relax and put your feet up whilst feeling a million miles away from the rest of the world. Sam

It is well furnished, has an excellent, well equipped kitchen, is warm and comfortable. It lies in a small Cotswold stone village with an excellent pub/restaurant a couple of hundred yards away. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

The cottage is incredibly charming with a great wood-burning fireplace, an outdoor patio, and a kitchen. They left lots of local recommendations plus a bottle of wine to enjoy by the fire! Location is great too - around the corner from a pub, quick drive to Daylesford/Kingham/Stow/Bledingham, and easy walking routes too. Highly recommend it!

  • "A charming cottage in a great location."

It's a lovely place for a romantic getaway, being easily drivable to the surrounding villages but far enough away to ensure peace and quiet. The village itself has a couple of great pubs.

  • "Fantastic stay for our first holiday as a family!"

Thank you, we had a lovely first holiday as a new family... truly a special experience for us!

    HenryNov 2017

  • "The cottage is very small and very cosy - perfect for our 5 day stay."

It’s been refurbished to a very high standard and we absolutely loved staying here. Thank you to the host for providing basic amenities for our arrival - such as milk, loo roll and red wine ;) these were very much appreciated. The local pub is a 3 minute walk away whilst there’s another down the road in the next village, both superb and cosy. It’s fair to note that we tried walking to Stow on the Wold but there’s no pavement along the 50mph road and the grass verge felt too dangerous, so we headed back to pick up the car - meaning that apart from the two lovely pubs, there’s no obvious way of walking to somewhere else for a drink. Visit the Porch house if you can, and the Sheep pub has great Pizza. We also recommend a short drive to the Roll-right stone circles, and the walk between Upper and Lower Slaughter - very beautiful villages nearby.

  • "This cottage is beautiful and well equipped leaving you feeling relaxed and cosy."

The little extra touches really made our anniversary special.

    HazelOct 2017

  • "Lovely little cottage in a small, pretty and quiet village."

Perfect for walks and pub meals!

    AmySep 2017

  • "The cottage is ideal for a couple to stay."

All of the appliances are nice and nothing feels outdated about the place, and it balances this with the lovely wood beams on all the ceilings. I'd recommend staying here for anyone looking to see the Cotswolds, Daylesford and Stow on the Wold are walkable from here with relative ease. Host was very accommodating, even giving us a lift to and from the nearest train station as the taxi service was suspended during our stay. Really really nice play to escape to for a weekend!
