The charming village of Mickleton in Gloucestershire lies on the western edge of the Cotswolds Hills, close to the borders of Warwickshire and Worcestershire. Boasting many attractive black and white buildings, Mickleton offers a good selection of village amenities including a well-stocked shop, farm shops offering a taste of the area and two traditional pubs. Mickleton lies just south of the infamous Meon Hill, said to have inspired Tolkien's Weathertop from The Lord of the Rings.
