  • "This was our third stay in this beautiful cottage, it is such a nice place just to chill and relax."

The locals in the village are so friendly, and make yo feel so welcome Will definitely return for a fourth time at some point

That’s so lovely. So pleased everyone makes you feel welcome in the village, we love it too. Please let me know if you return and it’s your 4th stay. Have a wonderful festive period and hope you visit again soon. Property Owner

  • "Fabulous holiday for us here, cottage comfortable, clean and well presented, thank you for supplying fans which were needed due to the heat wave we had on our visit."

Thank you for the lovely welcome pack. Tiny suggestion would be a pair of scissors in the kitchen and a pen as I didn't have one and couldn't write in the visitors book. Only other thing would be a small clothes dryer, as I love to hang my washing out rather than use the washer dryer! Think the freezer needs defrosting, may be due to the heat etc. Thank you again and would love to get back sometime in the future!

  • "Lovely quiet and cosy cottage."

The little extras were much appreciated such as welcome tray, kitchen wash up items, tea, coffee etc, plus extras in the bathroom. The weather was cool and wet when we stayed so unfortunately we could not sit out in the lovely outside areas. Well positioned for some lovely walks in the area and also exploring the wider area. The gate was very difficult to open and latch and perhaps needs attention and the king sized bed seemed very wobbly! Other than that, it was a very nice stay in Mickelton.

We're so pleased you had a lovely stay but sorry the weather was unfortunate for you. Thank you so much for your feedback, in order to improve we really value your opinions. We will have a good look at the gate, unfortunately as it's wooden it does swell & shrink with the weather. Thanks for letting us know about the bed, nobody has mentioned it recently but it will be checked immediately. Thanks for your lovely comments and we hope you can visit the Cotswolds again soon. Warm wishes from Samantha & James Property Owner

  • "We had a lovely stay here and would recommend to all!"

With a safe allocated parking space, a peaceful area and a beautiful property it really was the perfect short-break. Samantha and James were wonderful, let us check in earlier and left us too it after ensuring all was well. The hamper left to start was also a lovely thought! The retreat is spotlessly clean, and the beds are one of the comfiest I have stayed in! 10/10 and would highly recommend! X

  • "Booking process was excellent."

Sam and James were superb hosts, really went the extra mile. I had my 89 year old Mum with me and nothing was too much trouble. The cottage is fabulous. Well planned out and beautifully set up. Ideal location for so many wonders of the Cotswolds. Thank you Sam and James and look forward to staying again in the Spring.

It was a pleasure to meet you and your mum. Hope you had a safe journey home and we hope we can accommodate you again. Thank you for being so easy going & gracious! Property Owner

  • "Must provide at least one basin, for cooking."

Small knives need re-gluing shaft in blades. perhaps a new cupboard to store customers food as the one to the left of the sink is just tto high, and far back, anupright one more forward to sink would be so much easier, than leaving my products all over the counter because i couldent put them away

Thank you for providing us with your feedback. We can only apologise for the issues you have experienced during your stay and really appreciate these suggestions for improvement which have been noted. We hope to welcome you back to the property one day in the future Property Owner

Clean, stylish, comfortable and peaceful and great location for walking to local village, visiting surrounding villages and driving to Stratford. My pet thoroughly enjoyed having two well-enclosed outdoor spaces to explore. There were a couple of small gaps so if the pet was small, you'd need to keep an eye, but we managed perfectly well. Special thank you to the owners for allowing my pet :)
