Next stop is the market town of Chipping Campden, home to the Court Barn Museum where you can learn more about the town’s local artist school and the history of the artists, and the magnificent National Trust Market Hall, where you can wander through the 17th-century open market hall and soak up the town’s history.

Walkers needn’t feel left behind as a visit to Chipping Campden is the perfect spot to join the scenic Cotswolds Way, a 102-mile-long footpath that boasts some of the best views in the area.

Further afield is Stratford-upon-Avon, famous for being the birthplace of playwright, William Shakespeare, here you can walk the footsteps of the great literary at his former home and schoolroom, visit the MAD Museum, or step back in time at Tudor World.
