  • "Woodside was a lovely cottage with all the facilities needed to provide a home from home experience."

The "welcome pack" was a lovely touch and the christmas tree and decorations really made it feel festive. The pool table and dartboard provided many hours of entertainment. Its location in Mickleton was ideal with a local shop and Butchers and 2 pubs within walking distance and in a good location for exploring the many picturesque Cotswolds villages. Would definitely consider returning.

Thank you for such a lovely review. We are glad to know you enjoyed your stay and we hope to see you again soon. Property Owner

  • "Fantastic stay!"

House was lovely, exceeded our expectations. Excellent location, enjoyed trips to Stratford, Warwick Castle, Chipping Norton, Cotswold Wildlife park and any other villages nearby. Had a lovely evening meal at the Butcher's Arms - pies were amazing! Overall a truly excellent stay, will hopefully be back and will definitely recommend, thank you.

  • "Had a wonderful 6 days."

GWE railway was great (go on a Sunday for a miniature railway), Eastnor Castle was excellent (1hr away but great for dogs and kids), Cotswold Wildlife Park again good (but pre-book), Bourton on the Water (don't go on a Wednesday as railway and some shops shut) and last day we went to Kenilwoan Castle and Stratford. Can recommend the Pheasant pub - we went twice as good price, portions and dog friendly! Kings Arms is also lovely and lots of dog walks. Everyone in village very friendly. Great location with lots to do. Thank you

  • "Really lovely stay at Woodside - very comfy with everything you might need (once we'd found the hidden utensil drawer!"

) Unfortunate with the weather but able to enjoy walks - Kingsgate, Broadway Tower, Dovers Hill. Kings Arms is a must, highly recommend, easy drive to Stratford. Really sad to leave!

Thank you! We ate at the Kings Arms one evening - food was delicious but the service disappointing. we had a lovely day out at Stratford-upon-Avon, and enjoyed some beautiful walks in the sunshine. The play park by the butchers in the village was a great find.

  • "A fabulous weekend!"

Made good use of the BBQ and lovely outdoor seating area. House comfortable and super spacious - made for a lovely stay. We also did a lovely long walk which we'd recommend to Chipping Campden then on to Broadway after a pub lunch. Would come back! Cheers :)

  • "Woodside exceeded our expectations and I would thoroughly recommend this property if you're looking for that perfect, cosy, Cotswolds vacation with family."

The house is spacious and clean, with a charming fireplace and gorgeous morning views across a field of sheep. The kitchen is modern with smart appliances that are a pleasure to use. And the Games Room, with pool table and darts board, was perfect for a little post dinner entertainment. Just a couple of minutes' walk from the house is a very well stocked convenience store, and further along the High Street is a small post office and the Kings Arms pub, which does excellent food. The walk recommended in the guest information booklet was perfect for a sunny winter's day. We had a great time and hope to be back next year!

  • "We had a wonderful stay in Mickleton."

The photos don’t do the house justice! Kitchen and Outside area are gorgeous, as are the bathrooms/ bedroom. Only criticism would be that the sofa bed in forth room was uncomfortable and short of toilet paper for a full house for 3 days. Very flexible check out was also great. Maybe some blankets for the outdoor seating would be a great touch. I Would be very happy to recommend to friends and family and hope to return soon.

  • "Wow what a fantastic house."

The location was great - just a few mins walk from the village and easily accessible to Broadway and other lovely towns or villages. The house is so well equipped and newly refurbished. The open fire is lovely - so homely. You can get kindling from the local supermarket. We were 7 and the house was an ideal size but probably better with 6. We had a lot of fun with the pool table in the garage. Ample parking for 2 cars.
