  • "We loved Rosemead overall."

The kitchen was very cold in the evening and the oven seemed very slow to get up to temperature. However, the beds were very comfortable and we loved the sitting room and how close it is to the Town Centre.

  • "One can not fault the location."

The house is very well situated in the middle to Cotswold. We loved the kitchen which has been thoughtfully remodelled. We could have done with more dinnerware though as we found ourselves running the dishwasher after every meal. The room sizes are ok, although we found the single beds too small for adults but kids should be fine. The floor boards in the hallways and stairs creak a lot so tip toe up and down the stairs if you don't want to wake everyone up. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Location is superb, in walking distance to Moreton-in-Marsh centre and public transport options. Lots of living space in the property, we didn't get chance to use the outdoor space unfortunately due to the time of year.

Thank you for your kind feedback, sorry the weather was not good for you, hopefully you will come back another day and enjoy the garden. Property Owner

So convenient for the cafes, restaurants and shops on the high street. And very quiet. The bedrooms are compact but the living areas are good sizes. The garden was very private and seemed a lovely sun trap and dog-safe. We had a lovely stay. Couldn’t find what to do with the bed linen though and the bin calendar was from 2022 so no idea which bin was supposed to go out. Would be great if those bits of information were updated.

Thank your for your kind feedback and pleased you enjoyed your stay. We will address the bedlinen location and update the rubbish collection, which is fortnightly on a Monday morning. Property Owner

The house was spacious and comfortable with great facilities. An easy walk into Moreton-in-Marsh which had all we needed for our weeks stay. A great base for visiting the Cotswolds. The only suggestion we have is to look at the kettle. We rinsed out the limescale as best we could, but as there's no filter near the spout, it still ended up in our drinks. Easily fixed with a tea strainer, but perhaps the owners could look into changing it for future guests. Otherwise a fab stay and we would highly recommend Rosemead.

Moreton in Marsh is a brilliant location for exploring the beautiful Cotswolds and we enjoyed getting the train a bit further afield to Evesham (15mins) and Oxford (35mins). So much to see and do in the area and the house itself was perfect for our family (2 adults and 2 young children). Stunning modern kitchen/dining/lounge area with bi-folds out onto the enclosed garden and a Smart TV. Separate cozier lounge with comfy sofas and 3 good-sized bedrooms, and a fabulous powerful shower! However, the hygiene and cleanliness of the property was a real issue. When we arrived it wasn’t cleaned to the standard we normally experience in a holiday rental. Some of the plates and cutlery were soiled and one of the towels in the bathroom had make up on it. Very disappointed will not be returning.

Thank you for your feedback above, we do apologies for the cleanliness of the property. Unfortunately the company we hired to do the property since the end of June, had been doing a wonderful job, and all feedback had been at 100%, but following the move of their premises in September, there seemed to be a drop of standard, which we brought to there attention, and after a few weeks of no improvement, we terminated their services the weekend you left. We have now instructed a new cleaning company, who started the week after you stayed, who have done great work, and we have had verbal feedback from guest that the property was very clean on arrival. Once again I can only apologies for the standard of the property. Property Owner

There is a train track that runs along the property but trains only pass by very infrequently, dont make much noise and it only lasts seconds. • "The house was in a great location and had plenty of space."

The kitchen was well-equipped and the shower in the bathroom was brilliant. Having a bath and a shower was also great for a family property. However, unfortunately, the house was not very clean. There were cobwebs and spiders in all bedrooms and the carpet in the lounge contained lots of dog hair and looked as though it hadn’t been hoovered. The underside of the cushions on the corner sofa in the open-plan living space was also covered in dog hairs and food crumbs. When we attempted to clean them ourselves, we realised that the vacuum had no suction whatsoever, which is probably part of the problem. The beds were also extremely uncomfortable. After the first awful night’s sleep in the zip snd link bed, where I felt like I was rolling out of bed all night, we flipped the mattress which helped a little but they were still extremely soft and lacked any support. The mattress in the master bedroom was similar and extremely stained. Overall, the house was comfortable but at that price and in the current Covid climate especially, I would expect a much better state of cleanliness.

Dear Mrs Eley, I am so sorry for the stat of the cottage, we hire a company to do the change overs for us, and we do the garden, which enables us to check the cleanliness, but unfortunately we were away ourselves that weekend so we were not able to do the checks. We passed on your remarks to them and complained. We have since your stay booked out the cottage for ourselves to do some maintenance and cleaned the sofs ourselves as they were appalling. The hoover has been replaced. We will look at replacing the matresses in the future. Property Owner

This really is a home from home cottage. Our party consisted of 4 adults and a westie dog,, we were pleasantly surprised at the size of the property. The stunning high tech modern open plan kitchen was very well equipped, all cleaning products provided as well as - tea towels, wul, dishwasher tablets and washing power, so no need to bring. Large dinning table and chairs, L-shaped sofa. Bio folding doors leading onto a good size garden. Two good size double bedrooms and a single, all towels were provided and plenty of storage space although pictures do not show. A lovely size lounge with ample seating to snuggle up after a long day out. The property does have a downstairs toilet and very handy for larger groups. The garden does back onto a railway line - the noise did not affect us in any way and to be honest was nice to hear the trains come through as in such a quiet location. This cottage is a great base to explore the surrounding area, we would highly recommend and we would definitely come back. Would like to make a suggestion - A TV in the open plan living space would of been an added bonus as we spent most of our time in this area.

The property is in a quiet cul-de-sac. On arrival the property was tidy, all cleaning equipment, sprays, soap, tea towles, oven gloves & toilet roll, were included. We were advised to bring all this with us however were not needed. We were welcomed with a tray of goodies, bottle of prosecco cake, coffee, tea & milk. The property is well equipped with modern interior. The kitchen was high spec with an extention with a large dining table & L shaped sofa. Bifolding doors lead out to enclosed garden with outside table & chairs. We took a stair gate with us which we put on the kitchen doorway to ensure our dog did not have the roam of the house. As we spent most of our time in this area, a TV on the wall would of been an added bonus. There was a downstairs WC which should be added to the description, ideal for larger families staying. After reading a previous review, we were worried about the noise from the trains which pass the back garden. This did not bother us at all. The noise was minimal as not a main rail line and not high speed trains passing. The first & last train of the day did not disturb our sleep. The property is 5mins walking distance to the village. Only faults I could point out - there is no smart TV, so take a TV guide. I would recommend having a stair gate at the property. The recycling & rubbish bins were out of sight however overflowing already on arrival. The garden is large enough to include a hot tub which would have been nice, we have had in previous staycations for the price we paid. This property is a great base for visiting surrounding villages. We would stay again.

Dear Mrs Leddington, Thank you for your positive feedback, which some details we will update on the property description. We have added a Smart TV into the open plan kitchen and purchased a stair gate which guests can use if they want to. The bins are collected fortnightly on a Monday, so unfortunately they may be full on a Saturday arrival, which we are unable to do anything about. Property Owner
