  • "Perfect for exploring the Cotswolds and Stratford-upon-Avon."

Local pub do nice food in a friendly atmosphere. Property itself is a 2 bedroom house, clean and warm. Gutters at the back need urgent attention, or there is going to be a damp issue. Followed instructions re bin collection! No bins were emptied in the road!!

  • "This was our third stay in this property and we hope to stay again."

It was warm, in a very cold spell, and very comfortable. A small point - the porch light needs fixing. It’s hard to see the key safe with no outside light.

    A lovely location.

  • "Property is well located, easy to find, close to Stratford and Warwick."

Plenty of National Trust houses within easy reach. Pub in Newbold is currently closed. Generally comfortable. With regards to the bathroom, a towel rail close to the basin and a hook for a towel close to the shower would be an improvement.

  • "Our second stay and we hope to visit again soon."

A lovely, bright house. Very comfortable. A very small criticism - the reverse side of the shower mat displayed more culture than the V & A. We bought another for a few pounds. Don’t let this put you off - we’ll be back.

  • "Thanks for a lovely week, and the 'welcome' items were appreciated."

Lovely location, with House Margins nesting the eaves, which was relaxing to watch them work so hard whilst we didn't..Happily stay again. Cushions in the shed made sitting out in the sun really nice.

Home was nice and clean and comfortable and close to Stratford. A couple of nice pubs close by that we visited for food and drinks. Perfect for our girls weekend and would definitely recommend to others.

The property is situated very central for easy access to explore the Cotswolds and very close to some NT properties . We had perfect weather and made good use of the private garden and BQ ,we will definitely be returning in the future . The owners also left us milk, coffee, tea and a lovely cake . Thank you .

It was very clean and comfortable and the garden was delightful. The area was great with a lovely pub within walking distance serving nice food. Plenty of places of interest, nearby, to visit. All in all we look forward to revisiting the property next year.

  • "Nice comfortable house, we are waiting to move into a new house so we weren’t on holiday as such but the house is very convenient for Stratford, NT houses and the lovely villages around the area."

When the sun is out the garden is a great sun trap. We stayed for 3 weeks and couldn’t really fault it. Would happily recommend it.

  • "Generally a cosy and comfortable place to stay and a good location, however a few issues."

Shower not working so limited to baths, extremely frustrating that owners didn't notify us in advance although they were aware of the issue, which would have avoided 3 cold showers and 2 phone calls at the start of our week. Not enough cutlery and a lot of dust in the wardrobe.

It appeared the shower was working but water was not hot - this I was unaware of until the previous visitors left on the Friday morning with the relevant party due Friday afternoon - we spoke to the plumber ASAP but he could not attend until the following Friday - as the temperature of the water for the bath appeared to be OK I felt it offered a facility but was not aware it would be such an issue - for this I apologised for at the time -the issue has now been rectified. I did not receive any phone calls re. this issue and can only think the calls must have gone to Sykes. On the odd occasion there is a problem with Hawkins Way we always aim to deal with it promptly. • "The house is lovely."

Modern, light and comfortable. The garden is a sun trap. We very much enjoyed our week. However, there are not really enough cooking utensils, pots and serving dishes for quick, holiday meals. The serving dishes were greasy, the frying pan was worn out and the wok (photo if you would like) was truly disgusting. The previous holidaymakers had left a note in the guest book about the kitchen. It had obviously not been acted on.

Unfortunately we had been away ourselves the previous week - however - I thank you for drawing attention to the problem which we have now adressed. Property Owner
