Cheltenham 7.1 miles.

This enchanting little hamlet nestles on the west side of Oxenton Hill and boasts many black and white thatched and Cotswold stone cottages. Remains of an Iron Age Fort are still present on the hill and the present day village hall was the original village school. This historic hamlet is located in an AONB and surrounded by SSSI. Many lovely walks traverse the area with The Gloucestershire Way running through the village. The neighbouring village of Gotherington has a village store, a pub, an old chapel and a park within the area, it also contains twenty Grade II listed buildings. The elegant spa town of Cheltenham is 6.8 miles away, home to the renowned Cheltenham Gold Cup horse racing Festival, and attractions like the historic Pittville Pump Room, the Wilson museum, and the Victorian Everyman Theatre.
