  • "From arrival we were welcomed by a freshly cooked loaf until we left we had a most relaxing and comfortable stay ."

The accommodation was quite quirky and almost upside down with bathroom as you entered and living space upstairs . The owner was really nice and amenable . Plenty more of great places to visit close by . Would definitely go again

Thank you for providing us with such lovely comments. The property really is stunning, and we can't wait to welcome you again one day in the future. Best wishes, Manor Cottages. Property Owner

  • "Absolutely gorgeous place."

Fabulous location. Attentive hosts. Very well equipped. Loads of local information. Great supply of books. Privacy . The bed, sofa and living area were very comfortable, and the outside facilities, the only reason I marked down comfort was the washing up/sink area was compact, should not have left it all to the last minute! Loved the place and would love to come back, and the marmalade is yummy.

Thank you for your lovely feedback. We are delighted that you were very comfortable and were pleased with the information provided. We hope we can welcome you back again sometime. Best wishes Manor Cottages Property Owner

  • "I think the best use has been made of quite a small space."

However, it is definately not suitable for elderly or infirm people. My wife and I are in our 80's so we know. Our reasons for saying this are (1) there is no handrail on the staircase, (2) due to the positioning of the bed it is very difficult for one partner to get in or out without disturbing the other, (3) the swimming pool had no steps to get in or out. The hosts however were very accommodating and did their best to make our week's stay enjoyable. It was a lovely area too.

Thank you for your feedback. We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay and are sorry to hear that you felt the property was not suitable. We try to show the property layout and staircase from the photographs. Best wishes, Manor Cottages Property Owner

All was so well equipped and lovingly arranged - very clean and they thought of absolutely everything. Very personal touch to things and they even stayed up for us late so we would find our way safely (road closure so arrived after 11pm).\ The breakfast treat was more than we expected - fresh bread, jam and marmelade, pancake batter, butter, orange-juice etc. --- such a nice treat to include - especially for people just staying for a short break.\
