Beautiful situation in Paxford, surrounded by nature, central for trips out , walks and exploration. Cottage is beautiful, well equipped, comfortable and with charm. The neighbours are quiet, friendly and helpful. We have booked for next year during our stay, so popular, it's a little gem.

  • "We stayed here for 3 nights with our one year old."

The cottage is gorgeous with a beautiful garden overlooking an orchard. We enjoyed breakfasts and suppers on the garden patio whilst our son was able to explore the garden. Gill was such a thoughtful host, we couldn’t have asked for more in terms of amenities and advice on the local areas. She even messaged us during our stay to let us know there was a fan available if we needed it to keep our son cool on a particularly hot night! Local pub is fabulous too. Would definitely visit again.

  • "We had such a wonderful stay at Perry Cottage."

Thank you so much Gill for all of the thoughtful touches which made our long weekend such a treat. We really enjoyed being able to set out and explore from the front door -the local walks and pubs are fantastic. As the weather was so glorious we spent a lot of time in the beautiful, tranquil garden and our pup Oscar loved it too. We are already looking for a date to come back!

    JennaMar 2019

  • "We loved our stay at Perry Cottage."

The property had everything we needed (plus a few lovely surprise extras!) to have a truly relaxed weekend away. The super-king bed was a JOY to crawl into after a day's walking. Wintery walking routes almost from outside the front door, plus well located if you want to visit the other gorgeous areas close by. The Churchill arms pub is a 3 min walk away and the food and warm welcome knocked our socks off - we managed to squeeze in a second visit we loved it so much the first time. The cottage is perfect for cosy nights in, in front of the log burner, but when the sun shone we very much enjoyed the coffee on the patio and the serene view of the garden and fields. Would love to visit again - thank you for having us! (and Percy, the cat).

    HeidiFeb 2019

  • "Would highly recommend Perry Cottage."

  • "Thank you, Gill for a fantastic holiday at Perry Cottage."

When can we come back?! We have had a lovely time and do not want to leave. Perry Cottage has everything you could ask for and more. It is so cosy and you really have thought of everything! The location is great and the pub 2 mins down the road is even better! A holiday to remember. 5*.

  • "Wonderful holiday cottage in a super location."

We’ve has a week to remember touring around all our favourite Cotswold villages then returning to our cosy cottage with wonderful fire. Many a night has been spent in the village pub ‘The Churchill Arms’ which I can’t recommend highly enough for it’s warm welcome and excellent food. Thank you and we will be back.

    Carolann And RichardJan 2019

  • "We would highly recommend Perry Cottage, boasting convenient proximity to Chipping Campden, along with other nearby villages."

Also walking distance to The Churchill Arms (you must eat there at least once during your stay). We were surprised to walk into the cottage to discover a decorated Christmas tree and festive decor, along with fresh roses! Not sure Gill Theo knew it was our anniversary, but the roses were perfect! Perry Cottage, a one level freestanding cottage, is also convenient and easy to get around in; and, with the exception of one exterior step down to the front door, this cottage is stairless. It also boasts off street parking right next to the house. This re-purposed Cider Mill from the past is a beautiful mix of Cotswold country charm with the inviting warmth of modern living in the kitchen and bath. We loved our stay and enjoyed all of the holiday charm of this lovely cottage in the delightful village of Paxford.

After 5 mins we were already looking to return for our birthdays! Perfectly located and close by to some beautiful villages. The cottage is beautiful and our dog Alfie, was so at home here. We cannot wait to return to the Cotswolds and 100% will return to Perry Cottage. Thank you so much for being such a wonderful host Gill. Oh and I almost forgot – the lemon drizzle cake was scrumptious, thank you.

  • "Perry cottage was fantastic!"

The owner Gill has thought of everything - its homely, cosy, spotlessly clean and has everything you could need for a break away from normal life. It was our first time in the Cotswolds with our dog Franck and he loved it as much as we did. I've always been worried about booking pet friendly cottages at the risk of it affecting the quality/luxury but that was simply not the case here. The garden was completely secure with gorgeous views over an orchard. It truly was a home from home! Thanks Gill for making our weekend away.

Chipping Campden sits in the northern part of the Cotswolds and boasts many historical buildings from St. James' church where the Chipping Camden Music Festival is held every year, to the early 17th century market hall upon which the town prides itself. Not only does the town have a rich history but much more, the high street is laced with charming Cotswold stone buildings with a range of shops and pubs.
