The property
Welcome to the village of Shipton Moyne - a bit like Dibley from the famous TV show: beautiful, traditional and every inch your quintessential English village.
Impossibly ancient houses and cottages, smart, well-tended gardens, a thriving village community and one of the best named pubs in the land too (and it serves fine food too).
Your holiday cottage, gorgeously named The Henhouse is a joy of a place to stay.
Renovated completely from top to tail where space is a-plenty and extra details have been added for comfort, in fact you are are in for a treat.
You walk straight into a swish kitchen where you are greet by smart, pale units all under a granite surface, a heated flagstone floor beneath your feet and sweet views to the old henhouse (!!) where there are a small selection of fancy chickens, a few goats and some Shetland ponies, friendly neighbours over the fence of your garden.
There's all you need to whip up a storm in the kitchen, and a traditional oak dining table too.
Walk through to your living room with ample seating, a wood burning stove in fact all is very cosy thanks to underfloor heating.
Upstairs are two good sized bedrooms each with village views and each with ensuite showers, so no need to share here....
Outside is a good sized garden area with table and chairs.
We just loved the property and the location where there is plenty to do, if you want to, or where you can just play in and around the village in true peace!
Stunning.
