"We had a lovely long weekend at Bridge House with our friends."
Plenty to do and a beautiful area to relax in. The house is well equipped, super clean and very comfortable both inside and out. We even used the on site swimming pool in March!
"The quality of this house is outstanding."
Not only is it beautifully decorated, comfortable, quiet, roomy, and large, but is set in a fantastic water/nature park of some 500 acres meaning you have brilliant walks on your doorstep. This includes the River Thames in your back garden along which you can walk. Great place and will be back again in the future
"Great property, well equipped and ideal situation."
Lower Mill Estate an ideal place to enjoy the water activities and a good choice of walks . Family had a great time.
"Superb location, beautiful, extremely well equipped cottage, like home from home."
Very high standard of cleanliness. Additional support from friendly and helpful Manager James, was most welcome.
"The location was excellent, so much to do nearly"
"Bridge House is a very well furnished and comfortable property and easily accommodated six adults."
The location is ideally situated to tour the Cotswolds. The Lower Mill Estate is very quiet and peaceful and we would definitely visit again and use Bridge House for a base.
"Crockery possibly needs replacing as it is getting old and worn."
Thank you for providing feedback on your stay at Bridge House. The crockery is personally checked once a month to check for wear and tear and this was done only a couple of weeks before your visit and everything was in good order. Only one of the plates needed to be replaced at that time. Thank you for bringing it to our attention. Property Owner
"Very comfortable house."
A warm and unexpected welcome. Great contact with owner’s representative leading up to and then during the stay. Could not have asked for anymore.
"Very nice cottage with all modern amenities."
Lovely view. Very clean. 2 things we didn’t like: 1.inability to control heating ( remotely controlled) for eg. Towel rail in one of the bathrooms only started heating up next day!. 2. Security deposit.
Thank you for leaving a review on your stay at Bridge House, we're glad you enjoyed your stay. As explained in my email we went straight into the property the same day you left and all the radiators including the bathroom towel rails were on and working perfectly. Our manager also checked all of the heating before you arrived, including the towel rails, to ensure the house was warm for your arrival. We explain to all guests that you have full access over the heating by just turning the thermostats on each radiator up and down, this is stated in our house book. Property Owner
"A beautifully clean cottage in a stunning setting with everything you could need."
The house was probably the best equipped in terms of cooking utensils we have had. Location amazing. Would definitely go back to this cottage.
"Lovely cottage with excellent standard of accommodation."
Lots to do on site with free swimming and tennis. Water sports also available on site. Great place for families. Highly recommend.
"A lovely cottage in beautiful surroundings."
Lovely walks, plenty to see and do in the area. Our 2 grandchildren had a great time.
"House in a lovely quite location."
Close to lots of interesting public footpaths and pretty villages. Estate well maintained with good facilities including heated outdoor pool.. Close to many local attractions and interesting place to visit.
"Everything was spot on."
I really appreciated the BBQ facilities already having a couple of easy-light charcoal bags which made for a wonderful event with the family. No complaints at all, just perfect.
"Cottage is well furnished and equipped."
You can see that the owners take great pride in their property. Lovely location and the first time we have stayed in the estate. We were 4 adults, a toddler and a dog and there was as enough of space. Would love to visit again in Summer.
"Beautiful house and setting."
Facilities excellent something for everybody of all ages. House very well equipped.
"There was plenty to do in the surrounding areas,it was my Father in laws birthday whilst we were away so it was extra special to be in the village ,the surroundings were peacefull and picturesque."
We visited Blenheim Palace which is something we wanted to do for some time, and i was particularly delighted at the water assault course at the Cotswolds water park, this was a scream. If there was a negative regarding the village,i think it would be beneficial to perhaps have another table tennis table and maybe a pool table . The shop on site could do with increasing its range of products.
"We had a lovely time in a fantastic house that was very well equipped for our families needs."
The rooms were all spacious and comfy and had everything that we needed.
"A wonderful fun filled weekend."
The house and location were perfect. Loved it.
"We really enjoyed our stay at the bridge house, it's in a beautiful part of the country."
With lots of great things to do and really nice pubs to eat at. The cottage it's self has everything there that you could ever need on holiday. We have recommended to friends and family.
"Staff were very helpful in giving advice."
The location of the property and the facilities were very good. The owners of the property had provided all that we needed and also welcome gifts.
"The cottage did not have a lake view."
The cottage was not signed up to the on site spa meaning that both the spa’s indoor and outdoor pools could not be used and neither could any spa treatment be had even when we were prepared to pay for it. This was a major disappointment.
"A lovely property in a great location for visiting the local towns and exploring the local area."
The house was perfect for us (5 adults, 2 toddlers) with plenty of space for eating and relaxing, and the property manager, James, was always available when we had any questions. We would definitely look to stay here again if in the area.
"Fantastic place to stay."
Facilities were good for a family holiday.
"Fantastic stay in beautiful surrondings, would definitely recommend."
"We had a lovely stay, we were 8 Mum's going for a weekend away."
We walked to the local pub for dinner, swam in the outside pool & chilled in the lovely lounge. The weekend was an opportunity for us to relax and catch up and we certainly managed it in a very comfortable and lovely home.
"The park was in a beautiful location, very peaceful but plenty of activities for everyone to do, indoor and outdoor, The house was clean, spacious and very comfortable."
It had all the facilities to make you feel at home, even a washing machine and condenser dryer which if you needed to you could complete your laundry over night and it was ready for use in the morning. If the weather had been kinder to us we would have loved to sit out on the well set out decking and enjoyed the peace and quiet just looking at the wild life, but sadly not to be. Instead we had a great time using all the board games which were supplied with the house. Also it was super being able to use the pools when we got home from a day out instead of finding them closed at five o'clock as they usually are. It was a super holiday which persons of all ages can enjoy.
"There was 8 adults in our cottage and ample room for all of us."
The interior was very comfortable and the decking area provided a lovely space to have breakfast and chill after a days sightseeing in this beautiful part of the country. Lower Mill estate is a fantastic area for all the family. We hired bikes, used the heated pool and spa and came home all the fitter for the experience.
