    We loved it! After a day climbing in the Malvern Hills it was great to get back to the Byre and enjoy a good nights sleep in very comfortable beds.

The property

The Byre is a charming, single-storey holiday cottage resting on the owners' grounds on the outskirts of Upton-upon-Severn in Worcestershire.

With off-road parking, a shared swimming pool and games room, and delightful garden areas, the Byre has everything you need for a lovely cottage break.

Step inside to find a well-equipped open-plan living space, where you can cook up a storm in the kitchen, and dine over conversations with your loved one.

From here, enjoy a film on the TV and cosy up in the sitting area, before preparing for bed in the bathroom.

Get your rest in the king-size bedroom, and when you wake, savour your morning coffee in the garden while your canine companion enjoys running around the lawn.

Be sure to make use of the shared facilities too during your stay; the swimming pool offers hours of relaxation thanks to the bubble jets at one end and swim jets at the other creating a current you can swim against, while the games room provides your evening entertainment ahead of a day of exploring.

Worcester 12 miles; Great Malvern 6 miles; Tewkesbury 6 miles; Cheltenham 18 miles.

The pretty country town of Upton upon Severn lies on the banks of the River Severn and boasts a variety of delightful 17th century buildings and attractive shops, including 'The Pudding Shop', along with traditional inns, cafes, restaurants and its very own museum. It also plays host to many annual festivals, including Jazz, Folk and Blues Festivals, as well as the Sunshine Music Festival. This thriving small town has its own marina, a vineyard and well-stocked farm shop at the local fruit farm, plus the town’s medieval church, which is now a Heritage Centre, is topped by a striking 18th century cupola, known locally as 'The Pepperpot'. Just 6 miles away is the beautiful Worcestershire town of Malvern, and the dramatic Malvern Hills.
