"We had a brilliant stay at Yew Tree Cottage."
Everything was exactly as described and it was in an ideal location to explore the Malverns.

"Very well equipped in a lovely part of the country."
The only drawback was the rough track off the road up to the property.

"The house was perfect and provided everything we needed for a relaxing stay."
We particularly enjoyed the views from the kitchen as we enjoyed omelettes made from eggs from the neighbour's hens. In the evenings we enjoyed games of Scrabble - thanks for making a set available! We would consider returning in summer to enjoy more of the Malverns.
Thank you for your review. We’re pleased you enjoyed your stay. The Malvern Hills are a great area to

"Greetings from Tawelfan
Many thanks for letting us stay at your house."
We really appreciated your welcome pack and for putting the heating on, so that when we returned after our walks it was lovely and warm. The sunset was spectacular from your front window, but I did not like the bumpy drive way.

"Clean, tidy, comfortable and spacious property."
What more could you ask for. Brilliant location, few minutes from the shops right on the doorstep for walking over the hills and just a few minutes walk to the pub and a brilliant cafe. Great holiday

"We stayed in the cottage for one week in July."
The house is perfect for a small family with all amenities available. The views from the kitchen window and from the living room are amazing. Beds are confortable and neighbours are friendly. We enjoyed the walks on the hills (for which the cottage is located perfectly) and trips to the local pub (Chase Inn with an excellent vegan pop-up kitchen on the weekend we were there).
We recommend this place. It would be an improvement, though, if the owners would sign up to recycling waste collections. The planet needs our support.

"The accomodation was beautiful, comfortable and spacious."
The location was fabulous for walking although the track up to the cottage was a bit of s challenge. We were surprised to find that there was no freezer space at all and no washing/drying facilities. We take full responsibility for not reading the information properly but feel that these simple additions would make the accomodation perfect.

"This was the least clean of all the holiday lets we have stayed at in about 30 years of self catering holidays."
There was months, if not years, of accumulated dust on all lampshades, wooden floors underneath shelf units, and even radiators which should have been cleaned as touch points under Covid 19 guidelines. The outside table had not been cleaned for some time. Some crockery and cutlery still had food stuck to them.
If the basic cleanliness standards cannot be met then there was no way we could be confident that the property was hygienically clean and safe under the current Covid requirements.
The cottage is in a lovely part of the country with amazing views and was cosy and warm.
We're sorry you felt that the standards of cleanliness were not high enough and we will, of course, pass this on to our cleaners. However we have in the past always had very positive feedback about the cleaning.
We're pleased you enjoyed the location of the cottage and found it warm and cosy.
Kind regards Property Owner

"The house is in an excellent location, part way up the west side of the Malverns and with beautiful views into Wales."
From the cottage there is easy access to local walks and various routes to the summit. The cottage was as other reviewers have stated and we had a good week there.
A couple of additional points:
The house is situated up a track, and is not precisely located by the post code. In these Covid times we wanted to have deliveries of food shopping and takeaways rather than eating out; the delivery people all had trouble finding the cottage without help from us
Please note what I failed to do, that the cottage has no freezer capacity, not even a freezer compartment. I would have thought that was unusual for a self-catering cottage.

"The cottage was beautifully furnished and absolutely spotless."
There was everything we could need in the kitchen and bathroom, including miniature toiletries and even coffee and biscuits. Lots of books, puzzles and a smart TV with Netflix and a DVD player.
My only criticisms would be that the shower has very little power and a 3 seater settee would be a good addition to the lounge. It's quite hard to relax in there if there were more than two of you. Other than that, a wonderful short stay.

"Yew Tree cottage was a fantastic base for us."
It’s a home from home, and nicely laid out. The location right up in the Malvern Hills is beautiful, and the views from the kitchen and living room are amazing. All on one level is great for an inquisitive toddler too!
