We had a lovely time. The view from this quirky flat is amazing. The house and garden is well maintained. It’s a 50 meters away from Edward Elgar’s old house. The room is spacious. We had a lovely time. The view from this quirky flat is amazing. The house and garden is well maintained. It’s a 50 meters away from Edward Elgar’s old house. The room is spacious. Like other people who stayed there before us, we enjoyed a cup of tea and muffin on arrival. Nice little touch to show the hospitality from the owner. Malvern is a nice little town to wonder and relax. The gas lamps that inspired C S Lewis can still be seen in Malvern college and on the main road. From the house you can access the hill directly and it’s only 30 -45 mins walk to the Worcester Beacon. Ledbury only a short 15 mins drive from the house, where no homogenous shops are seen and sweet old grade I listed buildings take you back in time to meet Elizabeth Browning and John Masefield. Eastnor castle is a few minutes down the road and is sure to impress the little ones if they like fairy tales. Milk shakes and home made scones at kettle sings, Morgan factory tour... the list just goes one. We had a wonderful time to unwind and soak up the culture. Thank you for sharing the house.

The beautiful Worcestershire town of Malvern dates back to the Bronze Age and is situated on the eastern side of the dramatic Malvern Hills. An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the Malvern Hills form a 9-mile range of ancient rock, which offers 100 miles of footpaths and bridleways with natural springs and long distance views in all directions. The town holds antiques fairs, WI country markets, farmers’ markets and many auctions throughout the year, as well as the Great Malvern Food Festival in June. Malvern has individual shops, cafes, galleries, restaurants, a luxurious spa and it’s own micro brewery. It is also just a short drive from the Three Counties Showground which hosts regular events most notably RHS Malvern (May), The Royal Three Counties Show (June) and the Malvern Autumn Show (September). The town is the home of the Morgan car which makes this area popular with motoring enthusiasts. The Malvern Theatre welcomes productions from the West End and the Royal Shakespeare Company.
