  • "Just very small."

It was great for our needs attending the Sunshine Festival because we basically just slept in it. But the few days after that we stayed on and it was a bit too small due to lack of lounge space. But a beautiful quirky little cottage with all the facilities you need and immaculately presented.

Thank you for your lovely review. We appreciate the cottage is small but we feel it adds to its charm and character ! Property Owner

  • "The cottage felt and certainly smelled damp."

This is disputed by the owners, but we nearly packed our bags mid-break and returned home.

We are sorry you felt the cottage smelt damp, this is something no one has ever reported before and something we have never been aware of. Since your stay the cottage has had new double glazed windows fitted. Property Owner

  • "Only one minor issue - the bathroom had no electric shaver point and I had to go out the first morning to buy an adaptor unit."

Being a small town it was no problem but if it had been a village location I would have been a few days unshaven !

  • "We had a lovely couple of days at this cute and historic cottage."

It had everything that we needed for our time away. The space is compact, which we knew but thought out well to maximise this. Just two things to note: the key system was a little clunky and the duvet could be a little larger for comfort and coverage. Had a cosy and restful couple of days here and enjoyed the town too.
