Great care and thought has clearly been used to ensure that visitors enjoy the Apple Store as much as the wonderful area The owner left delicious homemade bread and cake, as well as milk, butter and marmalade, and this was such a lovely touch. There was also a tub of dog biscuits which were very much appreciated!

The village of Whitchurch lies between the small market towns of Ross-on-Wye and Monmouth, on the edge of the Royal Forest of Dean. Boasting lovely walks in every direction, Whitchurch has a thriving village shop and coffee shop selling locally sourced products, a pub and a restaurant. Just a short distance away is Symonds Yat, a pretty Herefordshire village, which straddles the River Wye, home to the magnificent natural limestone rock popular with wildlife enthusiasts and climbers, as well as a Butterfly Farm and Maze. Close by is the pretty village of Goodrich with its 12th century Marcher Castle, village shop and two pubs both serving good food.
