“This was a return visit in December and the cottage had been decorated for Christmas which made it extra special.”

A good location for walking and the local village is lovely.

The property

A charming, mid-terrace cottage ideally located in the historic Cotswold market town of Wotton-under-Edge, within driving distance of both Bath and Cheltenham.

Ideal for a family or a group of friends, a warm and welcoming feel is apparent as soon as you walk through the front door.

With accommodation set over three floors, there is a comfortable sitting room with a dining area and a cosy woodburning stove on the ground floor of this delightful cottage.

Separate from the sitting room is a well-equipped kitchen and a utility room, while on the first and second floors, three lovely bedrooms that have been thoughtfully furnished and offer flexible sleeping arrangements.

To the rear of the cottage is a large, enclosed, partially lawned garden, where you can unwind with a drink on a summer’s evening after a full day exploring the many attractions on offer in the area.

Also, the rear entrance to the cottage allows access for bikes or muddy dogs after a bracing walk.

The area is criss-crossed with lovely walks, with The Cotswold Way running through Wotton-under-Edge and the MacMillan Way with Monarch's Way also close by.

Wotton-under-Edge offers all the amenities a holidaymaker needs, as well as an Iron Age fort that dates back to 940AD, and there are pretty Cotswold villages and towns, along with National Trust properties, within reach.

This charming cottage offers the perfect base for a relaxing break, or an activity filled holiday, at any time of year.
