  • "Attractive, comfortable typical Cotswolds cottage."

Snug & ideal for a couple. Fantastic views over rural setting.Great location on village edge with lovely country walks right on the doorstep. Easy walk into beautiful Blockley with fab cafe and shop. There are 2 pubs but due to covid-19 restrictions we didn’t visit. Easy driving to all Cotswolds attractions. A perfect base for a short or long break.

  • "Amazing little place to stay."

Smack bang in the middle of all the places we wanted to visit. Also, the little village is a hidden gem with beautiful surroundings and a lovely pub. We had a great meal at the pub which was inexpensive. It is literally 20-40 min drive from places of interest. Broadway is 9 minutes away and is absolutely stunning. The cottage itself is incredible. It has great character and is homely and inviting. The views are stunning! There were even a herd of deer in the field out the back. We will be going back for sure. Only one pointer that may be of some use, maybe the checking in time could be a little earlier especially in winter/autumn months. Although the owner did manage to get us in an hour earlier at 4pm, at 5pm (which is the official check-in time) it was pitch black outside. This is only a suggestion and I cannot stress enough how much you should book this cottage. It is incredible and we had a great stay. Thank you.

  • "Stayed here for the weekend."

Lovely cottage, perfect for 3/4 people. Great location for country walks and local towns. Very hard wearing carpet in the main lounge area, would recommend slippers. However other than that a great place to stay. Highly recommend.

  • "We enjoyed our short stay in your cosy cottage."

It was lovely to come home to after some long walks and a sweet little village. The Blockley Walk book was really useful and we enjoyed a tasty take away delivered from Moreton on the Marsh. The views and sun rises/deer have been spectacular. Thank you.

  • "A very cosy and idyllic cottage on the corner of Blockley village."

The road is as tranquil as the cottage itself, with gorgeous views and the calming silence the sweeping hills behind it give. The hosts provide a very detailed and thought out guide to your stay. Inside is clean and bright, with the feeling of a home as opposed to an empty dwelling. Thank you!

  • "Honeysuckle Cottage was a wonderful space to spend the long weekend at."

We had a magical weekend! Only wish we had stars longer. The organisation once you book makes arriving and accessing the house super easy! The house is spacious with lovely features. The view is breath taking. The village is cute and surrounding walks wonderful. It’s really all you need for a cosy time in the country! Highest recommendation!

  • "We had a lovely week at Honeysuckle Cottage in the Cotswolds and Blockley is very tranquil."

The lady next door is friendly and the location proved an excellent base to explore further afield. Highlights included Hufkins at Stow on the Wold, Stratford Upon Avon, Great Western Arms for a pint and a bite, deer’s in the field at the end of the road and the lovely garden where we spent many an hour relaxing, particularly as the weather has been fantastic. So we spent most days out exploring, Bananagram is a new discovery we will be getting ourselves.

  • "This was a wonderful place to escape to for a few days."

The view was amazing, and it was great to be able to walk down to the local shop to pick up necessities to cook for myself while traveling without a car. Depending on the bus did get a little tricky at times, but It was great to explore the countryside on foot. Every trail was its own adventure. The cottage had everything I needed and was quite comfortable. I would definitely love to come back someday given the chance.

The cottage is a lovely blend of characterful features with modern comforts. The view from the back of the house is lovely and we enjoyed breakfast on the patio most mornings. Easy parking on the road outside. The caretaker and owners were very helpful. Great walks in all directions and beautiful local villages. A real community feel in Blockley. We would recommend both the company and the cottage to anyone.

  • "We have loved Blockley for many years, it is the best village in the Cotswolds."

So unspoilt. Look out for 'Cockney Stan' in the village - a real character. Our Jack Russell almost made friends with Holly the JRT next door. Fabulous weather completed our stay. If it's your first time in the Cotswolds you are in for a real treat. If you have been before, you will know that!

All amenities to hand in the cottage. The milk and chocolate cake which were left in the fridge were a very thoughtful touch and were much appreciated. The whole family enjoyed the Duck Race which highlighted Blockley's community spirit. Especially as we won two races. We love the Cotswolds, Blockley and love the cottage.

Very close by, Moreton-in-Marsh boasts many elegant 18th century buildings and is home to traditional inns, tea rooms, restaurants and individual shops to suit all tastes. It also offers its own train station and lies on the intersection of the Paddington rail line from London. The town hosts the Moreton-In-Marsh Show, one of the UK's largest one-day agricultural shows, as well as the Moreton Beer Festival, an annual French Market, and a large outdoor market every Tuesday. The highest town in the Cotswolds, this ancient market town has played host to many fairs since the 12th century and today holds a biannual Gypsy Horse Fair, craft fairs and monthly farmers' market. Close by is Bourton-on-the-Water, which lies in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is known as the Venice of the Cotswolds as the River Windrush runs through the centre.
