Some incredibly beautiful walks on Cotswold’s Way within a few minutes from Cottage.

  • "If you’re in two minds on whether to book this cottage or not."

. DO IT!! Do not hesitate at all ....this is a gorgeous, idyllic cottage, and has a very warm and cosy feel. Spotlessly clean from top to bottom. The location is perfect for nice walks, food, drinks & shopping. Gorgeously decorated with Christmas Decorations for that extra special touch. We will certainly be booking a return in the future!!

  • "Miller’s Cottage is a great place to stay."

Very comfortable and stylish, handy for the shops and pubs, with a well-equipped kitchen and lovely bathroom. Storm Dennis was raging during our stay, which meant we couldn’t do as much walking as we had planned, but we were very happy to stay indoors instead.

    ChristineFeb 2020

  • "This is a lovely cottage, the living space downstairs is particularly lovely, the wood burning stove was really wonderful."

    IlonaFeb 2020

  • "A memorable service for a dear friend who died recently brought us to Winchcombe upset and emotional."

We left our lovely comfy home - praying and hoping we would find the same. WE DID! So thank you so much for this wonderful cottage. Hopefully we will be back in happier times as it was pure bliss.

  • "Beautiful cottage, super clean with a lovely garden."

Gorgeous spacious bedrooms, comfy beds! Bathroom is gorgeous & so clean as was kitchen. Perfect location for exploring Winchcombe. Sofa is quite small in the living area for 4 people but perfect for 2. Private parking space near the property is great as parking can be tricky in the village. Can’t wait to come back!

  • "Lovely little place in Winchcombe which acts as a great base for exploring the Cotswolds."

Owner was very responsive to questions we had. We had our 10 month old baby with us which was great although the hard stone floors downstairs did mean we had to keep a more careful eye on him rather than let him crawl on his own. Thoroughly recommend overall.

The place was really cute and clean and I appreciated how streamlined the check-in process was. It's easy to walk to the grocery store, numerous restaurants, including a great Fish and Chips place, and numerous beautiful walking paths all around. Highly recommend!

  • "The cottage was absolutely perfect - characterful, spotlessly clean, well equipped, tastefully decorated and furnished."

Having the lawned garden was a great asset for this years glorious Easter weather. The cottage is ideally situated in a great village with 4 pubs, bistros, cafes, two convenience shops and a number of antique shops. Great walks each of around 4 miles on hand around the village countryside and Sudley Castle and ideally placed to reach other Cotswold villages to take a look. For the reasons above, rates one of the best cottages we have stayed in.

You suggested some great properties and the process was super easy and we thought good value also! Miller’s Cottage is a wonderful place to stay, spotlessly clean, charming and one the best equipped cottages we have ever stayed in. It’s a great base to explore the area and in the heart of a bustling town with lots of amenities. Would most definitely recommend both Character Cottages and also Miller’s Cottage.

  • "Wonderful little place, good size rooms and well equipped."

Winchcombe is a gem and much less busy than other Cotswolds tourist traps. Highly recommended; don't be put off by the location- though directly on the road there's little traffic outside the morning and evening rush hours. Much trouble has been taken with the cottage and amenities.

Miller’s Cottage is a stunning, terraced, Cotswold stone cottage, perched in the heart of the historic market town of Winchcombe.

The cottage is the perfect retreat for a family or small group of friends who are seeking a home-from-home break in this stunning part of the Cotswolds.

After parking in the designated parking place, make your way up three stone steps and into the entrance hall of Miller’s Cottage, where you can kick off your boots and enter into the stunning living/dining room, that has exposed Cotswold stone walls, flagstone flooring and a large inglenook fireplace home to a woodburning stove; the perfect room to relax with your loved ones, lost in the pages of a compelling book from the well-stocked selection or playing fun games from the ones on offer.

Two steps lead you up to the dining area which is partially separated from the sitting area by the TV, which can conveniently be rolled around to be viewed from either side of the room, it is here you and your guests can enjoy your delicious home-cooked meals, gathered around the oak dining table, whilst a second woodburning stove keeps the room toasty.

Look forward to rustling up heart-warming meals in the well-equipped kitchen that has all the appliances you require during your stay including a washing machine and tumble dryer, which leads to a useful boot room, idea for storing coats, boots and walking equipment, leading out to the garden.

Outside, a pretty gravel area leads you up stone steps to a lawned area with a table set that enjoys lovely views of the surrounding Cotswold hills and a summer house at the end of the garden, which is available to store bicycles.

Two tastefully decorated bedrooms can be found on the first-floor; a king-size with dressing table and vanity mirror, plus a fitted wardrobe and a super-king-size (zip/link, can be twin on request) overlooking the garden with smart storage facilities by way of a custom-made hanging space and chest of drawers fitted into an alcove.

The family bathroom has a stunning exposed Cotswold stone wall, where you can indulge in a soak amongst the bubbles in the bath, or have an invigorating rinse in the walk-in shower that boasts a waterfall shower over.

Miller’s Cottage is situated in the vibrant market town of Winchcombe, an ancient Saxon town with impressive architecture, independent shops, cafes, country inns and fine dining restaurants, also known as the walking capital of the Cotswolds, there are many footpaths right on your doorstep, many of which incorporate sections of the Cotswold Way long distance walking trail which covers over 100 miles of spectacular countryside.

In addition to stunning scenery, the town is also home to a variety of tourist attractions including the historic Sudeley Castle and the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway.
