  • "We really enjoyed our week here, the barn was beautiful and surroundings perfect."

Abberley Common was visited most days as I am currently not very mobile due to a recent knee replacement. This was on the doorstep and perfect for walking our two dogs. The hot tub was blissful and frequented at least once a day. The only things I would mention as observations not complaints in any way would be to have fridge freezer instead of an under counter fridge with ice compartment. With a full weeks fresh food shop delivered we struggled to fit everything in and there was only two of us, I don't know how a family of 4 would cope ? Also I would have preferred a washer or washer dryer to a dishwasher. As there was a hot tub we constantly had wet swimwear and wet towels from the hot tub and shower with no means of drying them.

  • "We had an excellent stay at the Little Beehive, the property was very clean, well stocked and fit for purpose."

There were some lovely additional touches that added to experience and the hot tub was amazing. We stayed here with my in-laws and they have two dogs and high standards. They found nothing to complain about and the dogs were also incredibly happy and comfortable. The local area is picturesque with great walks and we loved the sound of geese and cockerels in the morning (although my in-laws didn’t hear them). We did have a requirement to speak to the owner (I broke a glass) and it was nice that she is next door and so understanding and helpful. If I had to make an small negative observation it would be that I would describe the lounge sofas as adequate (not comfortable) but this was never a problem and didn’t detract from our enjoyment of our break away. We had a great stay in this premium property and I would definitely stay here again.

  • "Probably the best holiday cottage we have stayed in."

Very spacious and comfortable. We were a little concerned about the wasp nest mentioned in previous reviews but there was no sign of one and only had the number of wasps around you would expect for August. The owners live across the courtyard so on hand if you need anything, but otherwise you are not disturbed. Also there are no cameras, despite someone else's review! I can only assume they confused a camera with light sensors! Would definitely recommend!

  • "Lovely little cottage in a beautiful area."

Enjoyed our stay, rooms were comfortable and kitchen was fully stocked with crockery, glasses and pots/pans. Plenty to do in the local area, however found the local pub (the manor) a little pushy and over priced in contradiction to other reviews on here. Before we arrived we noticed a recent review highlighting a wasps nest, this still hasn’t been dealt with and impacted our time as we had a number of wasps inside the property, there was no easy way to deal with them, and meant we couldn’t have windows open to cool upstairs rooms. Hot tub was a lovely feature but felt in need of a clean.

  • "We loved the property."

It is in a lovely location. There were plenty of walks for our dogs and many places to visit locally including Wyre Forest. We would highly recommend this property to any couple with dogs. The owners need to know that there is a wasp nest in the middle at the back above a dark brick just under the eaves.

  • "It was a delightful converted barn and within easy reach of many outstanding areas, especially the Severn Valley Railway."

Good walks locally which our little Miniature Schnauzer took full advantage of. The local pub was good, even though the general manager and staff had only taken over within a few days of our arrival, very welcoming and friendly, food good too. The hot tub was a welcome treat helping us to relax after a full day of walking and sight seeing.

  • "Lovely cottage In beautiful surroundings, clean, bright and airy although the kitchen was very dark and needed lights on at all times."

Bed linen and towels lovely and white, all sleeping pillows had protective covers too. Loved the little touches eg hand soap, cookies. Enclosed garden with maintained lawn and borders. Bed side lamps brilliant with usb ports Great hot tub and bath lovely and deep. Would recommend a grab rail in the shower as it’s very slippery and possibly another hand rail going up the stairs. Not to use highly perfumed products on the scatter cushions in the lounge due to possible allergies and asthma customers. We did feel very uncomfortable being watched as we noticed a camera on the owners property overlooking the garden and hot tub area. The owners live next door probably only 50 foot away. The photos however do make the property look bigger than actually was especially the shower. Loud Geese and cockerel that seemed to crow at the wrong time of day lol

We do not have a camera. Property Owner

Quiet and calming, with lovely walks and countryside to be emersed in. Hot tub in garden is a bonus, but felt slightly on show to the other house in shared courtyard, the fences are high but not high enough to shield you from view! Overall a lovely place to stay, despite the torrential rain we really enjoyed ourselves and was so nice to have an actual enclosed garden very rare that it isn't shared or just secured with a bit of rope to be "enclosed", so thank you for that! Will be recommending to friends/family 100%

The Little Beehive was certainly a home from home. Beautifully warm during a rather "fresh" week in February/March. Hot tub was a wonderful addition. Well located for days out to Westmidlands Safari Park and Severn Valley Steam trains. Good walks in the local area and would recommend the local pub/restaurant/Inn for an evening meal. Only criticism would be lacking of info on local points of interest.

The property is easy to find, spacious and decorated in a fresh modern style. The little garden is private and secure - such a boon for dog owners . A hot tub is a real treat and this was easy to operate well maintained. We enjoyed walking the local pub and the Norman Church. We only ate at the pub once - lovely food but being Gastro Pub was a bit over our budget - no scampi and chips here . The description of the property and facilities is accurate and covers everything I can't add anything else

  • "The cottage and decor was beautiful."

The Christmas tree was a nice touch, thank you. The kitchen was well equipped including T-Towels. The bathrooms had hand soap, towels and toilet paper. This side of things was brilliant. The cottage was a bit warm so we turned down the radiator theromostats as to not waste energy. Our dog loved his stay and the local walks. It was a lovely peaceful Christmas. The only thing we were not happy about was that the dishwasher had not been emptied properly and there was a pool of stagnent water in the bottom which was rather potent to the nostrils and turned the stomach. Then we discovered that we had to wash EVERY plate, cup, and utensil especially the serving spoons, plastic utensils and whisk and container... there were still food on these items!! We could not find a sweeping brush, dustpan and brush or a mop to clean floors while we were there. Only a hoover was supplied. I would have liked to mop the floor where our dog was in and out of the building. A washing machine would have been useful too. I didn't realise there was not one. I should have read the description more carefully. We did not use the jacuzzi as we were not sure of the hygene issues. Also, an update on the matresses would not go a miss. I didn't know that 1970's style sprung mattresses still existed, I tossed and turned with springs in my ribs most of the night. Other than the hygene and matresses, this cottage could have been sooo much better. A lovely building in an oustanding area.

The garden is secure for a dog and a good size too. We found the house warm and comfortable. However we did find the master bed mattress uncomfortable as we could feel the springs in it. For anyone who has a bottle fed baby, the microwave is too small for the tall mam bottles but we were able to boil sterilise them.
