  • "It is an impressive property that enabled a wide range of ages (3- 70) to enjoy an important family celebration."

The welcome pack, especially the wonderful cake decorated with Easter eggs (being Easter week) was a thoughtful gesture & very much appreciated. The owners were friendly & helpful.

  • "A delightful, very clean property with welcoming owners, a superb welcome cake and plentiful supply of essentials."

Ideally suited for a large multi-generation family special birthday booking with plenty of space, ample crockery and cooking utensils. Highly recommended provided one reads the description and recognises the property is on a working farm where we found it interesting watching the young lambs and calves.

  • "We spent a magical Christmas at Munderfield Mill."

The property is very cosy and homely and we were thrilled to see how beautifully the owners had decorated the Mill for our Christmas stay. Our grandchildren thought they were entering Santa’s grotto!! The delicious chocolate cake and other goodies on our arrival were very welcome. We used the range cooker to cook family meals every day including a delicious Christmas dinner for 7. The abundance of cooking utensils, lovely crockery, glassware and cutlery was a real bonus in a holiday home. We had a fabulous week and would highly recommend.

Lots of lovely surrounding places to visit and beautiful walks too. Mungerfield Mill is extremely cosy and comfy to return to after trips out. We had the most amazing time.

  • "A very comfortable and spacious property."

Nice welcome from the owners. The following are minor points but I think worth sorting out: - the lounge could do with more side lamps, the overhead lighting is harsh for what is otherwise a cosy room - the non-food, recycling bins in the kitchen were a bit confusing and small - vestibule lampbulb missing - not enough toilet rolls

  • "We had a fabulous time at Munderfield Mill, it was perfect for what we needed."

We enjoyed watching the tractors go passed the windows going about their work, the little one loved counting the sheep and cows that we could see from the property, and when we did bump into the family they were very welcoming. The property was very clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

  • "Munderfield Mill itself was as shown, spacious and well equipped."

There were a few maintenance issues, which we made note of and left with the owners. There was a wonderful Victoria sponge left for us along with plenty of milk. Also the beds were exceedingly comfortable and the bed linen was of good quality. However we were very disappointed in the surroundings of the mill. The only decent view was from the upstairs landing and then only if you looked out in a certain direction. So we spent most of our time on that landing. We were aware that we would be adjacent to a working farm but not that it would be a really rundown farm and that the farmhouse would be a total eyesore. The outside environment did not match the beautiful interior of the mill and unfortunately your photographs hide this fact very well. Because of the surroundings we would not return to Munderfield Mill.

  • "Munderfield Mill was the perfect venue for a family get together (very central for families travelling from the South west and the midlands)."

The enclosed Mill garden on a working farm meant our two dogs could roam without getting into mischief. The Mill is full of character. Plenty of seating, bedrooms and bathrooms. The owners on hand should we need them, but not intrusive. A delicious homemade cake upon arrival, and milk and bread Ieft in the kitchen. The only niggle would be that the kitchen needs some bulbs replacing as it was quite dark…apart from that. Perfect!

It was outstanding so comfy and accommodated our family’s perfectly. The rooms were perfect comfy beds. The only thing was the showers were cold so that was a disappointment. Highly recommend this place to all our friends and family.

  • "This was a beautifully restored old Mill on a working farm in lovely countryside close to several centres of interest."

We were made very welcome with a fresh home made cake, bread and milk provided which is quite unusual these days. We had access to the farm land and went for evening walks from the door. This really is a fabulous part of the country well worthy of much exploration and this is an excellent base.

  • "What a wonderful stay we had at Munderfield Mill!"

The owners could not have been more friendly or helpful. A beautiful property, so well equipped and really comfortable beds. We loved being able to help feed the lambs and wander freely around the farm admiring the cattle. Really appreciated the delicious cake, fresh bread, milk and biscuits on arrival after our long drive. We were also pleased to find out the property has a washing machine and tumble dryer which wasn't listed in the property facilities listing. All 3 generations (and the dog) holidaying here, had a fantastic time. Thank you so much for the lovely memories.

  • "We had an enjoyable winter holiday week-end break at Munderfield Mill."

" The cottage was spacious, very well maintained and in a nice quiet location. The hosts were friendly and most welcoming. They made our stay stress free and enjoyable. We arrived late at night in wind & cold to a roaring log fire, a freshly baked cake, compliments of Richards partner and fresh bread and milk. The spacious layout of the cottage or rather large farm house with 2 staircases facinated the kids. We woke up to see calves and cows close by in several barns and were invited by Richard to visit the chickens in his gardens. For dog lovers, the farm has several dogs who generally keep away from the rental cottage and are friendly. Except for a 7 Yr old Jack Russell called "Pickles". Pickles is exceptionally friendly, visits all the guests, enjoys being petted and even turns over onto his back to solicit a belly tickle! Pickles is really good with young children and is very passive. Overalls lovely hosts, spacious and well kept, clean house. All of us had a really relaxing break and would Highly Recommend this cottage.

  • "We had an amazing family Christmas for 10 in this excellent property which is better and bigger than the photos suggest."

Comfortable beds, excellent new modern clean bathrooms and a kitchen with everything you need for making Christmas dinner for 10 people. We enjoyed the log fires (2 separate seating areas with a log fire each) and also the home baking on arrival was a wonderful extra. The owners are extremely friendly and would be easy to approach if needed, but we also had total privacy during the stay. The house had a large Christmas tree and decorations throughout which was a wonderful touch. The children aged between 8 and 13 loved the mezzanine level which opens onto the king-size bed below creating the perfect Christmas sleepover space for them. However the mezzanine would not be suitable for younger children - but the separate twin room would be. We were all really impressed with this property and would happily stay again.

  • "Wonderful place to stay."

Plenty room for all the family. Everything was provided from tea and coffee to a home made cake. We had no need to use the log burner as the barn was very warm and even had to turn the heating off. There was a slight problem with the door sticking in one of the bathrooms and I would suggest some hooks on the back of the upstairs doors for dressing gowns etc. Ann was there in a few mins when we needed to reset the router. My 3 year old grandson loved looking out of the many windows at the cows and tractors. Would highly recommend and would definitely go back.

It is spacious yet warm and cosy and very well equipped. We received a lovely welcome from the on-site owners together with a home baked cake and a rustic loaf of local bread plus what was needed to make a cuppa. And they went out of their way to explain what was going on on the farm and to indulge our three small grandsons, who all want to return, as do we.

  • "We really enjoyed our stay at Munderfield Mill, set on a beautiful working farm within easy reach of the Malverns, Hereford and Wye valley."

We have a dog who gets nervous in new places, especially where there are other dogs and people around, so it was important to us to find somewhere secluded and with plenty of space - and an enclosed garden was essential. Munderfield Mill was the perfect location, and our retriever enjoyed relaxing on the patio and also on the balcony overlooking the farm - a feature you won't find in many cottages. We were all able to completely relax and enjoy the property and the beautiful surrounding country, including two nearby fields where we were able to let our dog off for a run. The property owners were friendly and helpful, and despite running a busy farm we're there in minutes if we needed them for anything. We also arrived to find fresh local milk in the fridge and a huge chocolate cake! All in all this was a brilliant property in a beautiful location, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others.
