Our dog loved running around in the enclosed garden and going for lovely walks across the common which is literally right across the road. Having the log burner on in the evening and a soak in the gorgeous bath was a welcoming treat at the end of the day. We will definitely be returning some time in the future!

Rachele is a wonderful host and so accommodating and left not only easy to understand instructions for Wi-Fi, bins etc but cakes and milk and treats for the dogs. The garden is enclosed and provided a safe environment for our two Cockers who loved it…you even have your own private parking space behind gates. Having had cottage holidays since 2017 and stayed in something like 20 different ones around the country this one is certainly one of the very best not only for the presentation but also the locality to the Malverns, Worcester, Ross on Wye, Monmouth & Abergavenny. Thank you Rachele for a lovely week! Robert, Freda, Bella & Betsy

  • "What a stunning cottage!"

As holiday cottage owners ourselves, we are quite picky, and our only negative comment is that there wasn't a lot of storage space for the food we took. There was a very generous welcome basket waiting for us on arrival, as well as one for the dogs. It was lovely being opposite the common for dog walks, although because of free-roaming sheep we couldn't let the dogs off the lead. But the garden to the cottage more than made up for that as it was really big and totally secure. Lovely to have the sitting-out area with comfy seats and a sun umbrella. The kitchen was really well equipped and it was good to have 2 separate seats in the living room. The king-size bed was really comfy and the hanging space very ingenious. Great to have so many hangers too. The bathroom was excellent, with a bath as well as a shower and plenty of shelf space for toiletries. Would definitely recommend this lovely cottage.

Thank you both for all of your positive comments. I took your point about space for food storage on board and have re-arranged things so there is some free cupboard space. Very happy to hear you enjoyed your stay. Property Owner

There is everything you need for a comfortable, relaxing stay and the garden is fully enclosed/fenced if you're bringing a Dog with you too. The kitchen is well laid out, plenty of space and a large Lounge. It's deceptively spacious. There is a road that runs beside the Cottage but it's a quiet 30 mph road and we didn't notice any noise from traffic. Fantastic hot shower, massive bed, handy utility room and log burner if the evenings are cold. Underfloor heating is a gem first thing in the morning. We had a great stay here and we will definitely be looking to go back.

A perfect getaway over new year for me, my wife and two dogs. For anyone who wants to get away from the business of life or who has a dog that is petrified of fireworks this is the place for you. The only noises we heard were sheep crossing the road in the morning it was so peaceful. Would absolutely stay here again as there are so many nice places to go near to the cottage. Ledbury and Broughton on the Water were our favourites.

It is a beautiful little house, and Racehele made our stay lovely, with really good welcome instructions and a lovely welcome pack. The garden is lovely for sitting out and secure for the dog. There are amazing walks right from the door onto the common, which can take you right up into the Malvern Hills. We loved how homely it was and we were so sad to leave and would not hesitate to recommend this to others. We will be booking again, as there is so much to do in this part of the country. We can recommend climbing all the hills, also Upton on Severn and Worcester, Ledbury is nice for eating out also. It's a stunning cottage that had been beautifully and lovingly restored and has everything you could possibly need, making it a home away from home. Ivy is in a great location, not just because of the surrounding countryside but because it's close to all the amenities, however it's far enough out to enjoy the peace and quiet. A list of the local supermarkets etc are provided in the visitors guide, including the contact details for the local doctors surgery, dentist or vets if you require them. The nearest town, Ledbury, is a short drive away through the Malvern Hills, passing through Eastnor and it's castle, and the fields on the other side of the road are lovely to walk around - but watch out for the sheep! The bench at the top of the hill is a very pretty place to sit and watch the world go by, with views of Ivy Cottage and the surrounding farmland. As for the host - she was faultless. She kept us informed and up-to-date with everything. She has created a wonderful holiday cottage and made our stay unforgettable. The little touches made it even more special. My boyfriend and I felt very lucky to have been the first guests to stay at Ivy. We have made many memories there and have fallen in love with it. It was very hard to leave! But we will definitely be returning soon. We're sure you'll love Ivy Cottage as much as we do.
