One small thing…the back door lock needs attention Also softer pillows on the beds would make it even more comfy. That’s a really beautiful bedroom with a fabulously efficient shower . Many thanks Gill and Keir

Thank you Gillian for taking the time to comment, it is good to hear that you and Kier enjoyed a good stay, sorry to hear that the pillows were not soft enough, obviously we have to cater for all needs so sometimes it's hard to please everyone, however I will take your comment on board, also apologies for the door, if you had mentioned it we would have been more than happy to have sorted out the problem, as I always say to guests "If there is a problem just l knock on our door". Thank you for your lovely comments on our garden whilst you stayed with us, such appreciation makes all the time and energy spent worth while. It was a pleasure to have meet you both. Property Owner

Attingham Park, Witley Court, Berrington Hall, Brockhampton Hall [a gem] and Croft Castle to name just a few and of course Clee Hill. We loved the garden, as did Loki our cocker, who kept stealing Rufus's ball! The cottage was very comfortable and we had a happy time there. There are good eating places around like the Hopton Crown but I particularly recommend the Salwey Arms at Wooferton. I had the best Gammon steak I've eaten [and I'm 66] in the week. We enjoyed it so much that we went back on the Saturday for breakfast on the way home and my wife said she had the best Eggs Benedict, she had ever had. Beverley and Des were warm and welcoming hosts but never intrusive and we thank them for a thoroughly enjoyable stay.

As a keen gardener myself I truly appreciated the magnificence of the cottage's inspiring and lovingly tended garden. This being Summer time the garden was in full bloom and was truly awash with colour, sweet scents and natural beauty. Thank you Beverly, Desmond and Rufus for everything.

The lounge area has two comfortable sofas and the kitchen is well equipped with good appliances. We cooked all our own meals apart from one, which was fish-and-chips from nearby Clee Hill (highly recommended), but there were several places to eat in the area. The bedroom is spacious with comfortable beds, good storage space and a modern ensuite bathroom. The garden is beautiful with squirrels and a wide variety of birds and affording lovely views across the countryside. We found the location ideal for exploring local towns and historic places, and nearby Wyre Forest has lots of waymarked walks. The owners, Beverley and Desmond, whose house is next door to the cottage, were very friendly and helpful but not intrusive. All-in-all a very enjoyable stay!

Beds and shower where great, kitchen was a bit small but fine for 2 people especially as we ate out a lot. The location was great for days out, walking with the dog (Croft Castle, Ironbrige, Shrewsbury and Bridgenorth particularly) and found lots of dog friendly pubs in Hopton Wafers and Cleobury Mortimer (would recommend Hopton Crown and The Kings Arms).
