  • "Thank you for a fantastic weekend in your cottages, we stayed in the stables and tack room( adjoining door ) great for our extended family, both cottages clean, well equipped with everything you needed, lovely bedding and towels, my grandson loved the chess set and they even managed to play games in the barn even though weather was freezing."

We were here for my daughters wedding the cottages were 20minutes for wedding venue (bredenbury Court Barns)plenty of space to hang dresses and store all equipment for wedding, we were grateful the owner let us arrive earlier due to time table and had the heating on full lovely and warm -5 outside, booked a carvery in the three horseshoe inn on the Sunday only a few minutes drive from cottages food was fantastic and a lovely welcome.

  • "The property was finished to a very high standard with beautiful woodworking throughout."

This is one of the cleanest, if not THE cleanest property we have ever stayed in, we were expecting to have to have a quick clean around as it is a pet friendly property, but for the first time ever there was no need as it was spotless! Very comfy beds and a great location means that we will definitely be back.

  • "We had a lovely week at the Stables."

Everything was very good. It was lovely to come back to a warm house after being out. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well placed for everything. It’s in a very rural place and therefore we felt very safe and the whole holiday felt a complete switch off from the current news regarding the pandemic. We hope to return. Many thanks to Sarah and her staff.

  • "It is a very comfortable and cosy cottage."

The heating was much appreciated during a November visit. There is no level access to the cottage, both back and front entrances have steps and although it does not claim to be suitable for the disabled the existence of a ground floor bedroom might lead one to expect that it was. Perhaps this should be made clear in the details.

  • "This was a wider family get together of 26 ranging from nearly 80 to 10 months."

We had a wonderful time and most asked if we could do the same next year. The under twelves took full advantage of the garden and playroom. We all walked in countryside that I knew very little about. We were even given permission by the priest-in-charge of the beautiful church next door to hold our own family service on Sunday.A thoroughly good time had by all

It wasn’t noisy but it didn’t look very nice. The WiFi didn’t work at all during our stay. There isn’t a hairdryer at The Stables

The setting was rural and quiet which suited us. Quite a trek to shops so would recommend that people take initial supplies tea, coffee etc. The games room adequate but would benefit from an update. Would definitely return to this cottage when staying in the area again.

  • "A really spacious and comfortable cottage."

Had a brilliant open plan living dining area which was excellent for socialising with friends. The beds were really comfortable too. The sofas and other furniture were of excellent quality. My only little criticism is that is desperately needed a coffee table in the living area as with three sofas there was no where to put cups and glasses when sitting down. For the ultimate cosiness a rug to make it ultra snug. The bottle of wine was a nice gesture and much appreciated. Also the short walk to the pub was and excellent bonus. Would definitely come back again. A beautiful location in the Autumn with fantastic scenery and peace and quiet.
