The walk to the local pub, The Lion was so easy. We would luv to recommend the pub as well for food and friendliness, the staff couldn't of done any more. We felt so welcomed. • "This pod looked nice at first."

Me and my gf was excited when we first arrived, but as time folded we realised it was a disaster!! Would not recommend at all if you’re taking pets then kennel shown is not suitable at all as when we got there the kennel was dirty and full of water. I messaged the owners asking if I can bring my vehicle down to the pod as I had a suitable cage that would of been very suitable. But the response I got was not good at all. I was told the kennel is only there to house the dog for a quick break ( 1 this isn’t mentioned in the description, and 2 I wouldn’t even house them in there for 10 mins) I was told the dog is allowed to sleep in the pod. Which I clearly didn’t want with the pod being that small so I responded with the size of my dog, and again they laughed it off responding people normally take two in the pod which I find BS as it’s very small and because of this we left the pod the same day, not helpful at all, and misleading on the ads regarding the kennel, as if I knew the kennel was made for just a ‘pit stop’ I wouldn’t of book!! Absolutely waste of money. People with pets I would strongly recommend going elsewhere

We had a lovely two night stay in the Pod watching the sun set in the evening and watching it rise in the morning over beautiful countryside. The Pod is basic as you would expect but with a good shower. There's a TV and Wi-fi if you need and the TV had external speakers for good sound and radio. The kitchen facilities were adequate but perhaps could have done with a grid for the grill. The hot tub was excellent and on when we arrived ready to use. The trolley for your luggage was a great touch. There are some beautiful walks around the area and the local village has a lovely little pub. Would definitely recommend.

  • "My Gf and I enjoyed a perfect 1st year anniversary here at this pod."

We had a blast and I would highly recommend this for a couple that’s looking for some privacy to just enjoy each other’s company. The pod itself and the surrounding areas are not only picturesque but very well maintained I was very surprised by how clean the pod was. The Hot Tub was perfect and clean and is emptied after each visit, it was also pre-heated and ready to be used on arrival so make sure you have your bubbly of choice in hand the second you get out the car :D. A tip for those with heavy luggage there are little carts in the carpark to help wheel your luggage to the pod I would recommend using it as the pod is around a 1-2 minute walk from the carpark. The only little bit of criticism I have is the postcode provided unless I entered it in wrong on google maps took me to the centre of Clifton-Upon-Teme and not the location of the farm this is the address we used to find our way there,(Yeomans J E & Son, Worcester WR6 6EW), In case anyone gets a little lost in the dark like we did. I would like to thank the owners for providing us a lovely break from busy London.

Fishing was also great and the one carp I caught was in brilliant condition (Mirror 15 1/2 lb.) The only advise I caught give is it might be beneficial for the wives/girlfriend to know whether there's a hair dryer supplied. Tea/coffee was all there but you must supply everything else, which is absolutely fine. Just handy to know. Would also be nice to know what size the fish go to as it's not stated anywhere obvious. The stay was exceptional, would definitely go back.

  • "The owner is perfect I’m disabled and struggle as we had the furthest pod the gander - he offered to help as there is no insurance on the gander pod road so u have to walk it."

Which is hard if u have a lot of stuff. There’s a pulling trolley but it’s not the best at all. We came very ready with the food to last us for five days and drinks, last five days and everything we could ever need. I brought a small little net for the Jacuzzi for bugs which was very very helpful. We didn’t get to use the barbecue or at the fishing nets, but if you wish to fish then just bring a fishing rod. We also requested a small mini freezer which he provided for us which was perfect. The gander pod is more secluded than the other pods so if you want privacy, then choose that one I would say. I am OCD and forever over prepared and love to cook so I did bring my own cutlery, even though there is cutlery but very camping style forks lol so I’m glad I brought sharper knives and casserole dish for lasagne. Just book it!!!! You WONT REGRET!!! The hot tub has a ring of dirty around the edges where everyone has rested. There is a lady who comes to check how clean it is. But yh it was just alittle off putting for me but my Irish partner wasn’t too bothered, but then again he grew up on a farm lol The bed is ok, the mattress dips on one side but the right side is ok. Look for the price, privacy and amenities especially the farm animals everywhere with no smell and the lake right infront on the deck. AMAZING it great for reconnecting with each other, bring nothing tech like, u have a free view tv, bring board games, talk drink and have fun, we had a great anniversary

Such a beautiful place and so relaxing. We stayed in the wrong pod the first night and didn't know this intill owner came to look at hot tub and told us we apologised and said we didnt even notice and was convinced it was the right pod he was very understanding and very friendly and laughed about it.. Once we was in the correct pod they stay was fantastic we went there for my wife's birthday and really just relaxed and enjoyed the surroundings with our fur baby who also loved it there. They mentioned in there hand book for some advice in improving the stay. We suggest maybe a more Comfortable mattress like memory foam one rather than a spring one. And maybe be allowed to park our car down at the pods as there would have been enough space for one car. The footpath gate was also locked so couldn't walk the dog there. Other than that it was a lovely stay and we will defp be back again but this time in one of there cabins.

The fact we could fish the lake was an added bonus! The pod itself was beautifully done and had everything we needed. We were lucky that we had good weather (nice and sunny even though it was mid October) as it meant we could really use the decking and hot tub. Fishing wise, the lake was a very hard fish and we only caught two the whole time we were there. However, October isn’t necessarily prime fishing season - especially for a lake which isn’t fished by hundreds of people and the fish we did catch were in beautiful condition and both in double figures. The bailiff (Gareth) was extremely helpful and friendly, as were the owners. We even managed to meet their lovely border collie who came onto the decking for a cuddle! All in all we had a wonderful time and would love to come back again.

The lambs were bouncing round, we caught a couple of really nice fish, and spent the evenings watching the water from the hot tub. Bliss. Only tweaks we would suggest is more towels (when you come in from the tub to use the loo it’s hard not to cover the floor in water,) a swim for fishing from the deck like the other properties have, and some form of windbreaker to stop some of gusts of wind blowing you away in the tub. But these are all personal preferences, the place is just lovely as it is!

The only 2 slight grumbles are the shower was blocked from so much hair clogged up and some things were grubby that we found over the stay, mugs, plates ect. The other thing is the cleaner welcomed us with ‘ you were meant to be gone by 10am’ at 2pm in the afternoon. • "First and foremost I would like to say we had a very enjoyable stay, however there are a couple of things that could have made it better, the walk from the parking area to gander pod is at least 200 metres, not so far in daylight when it’s dry and you’re not carrying everything you need clothes food etc for a long weekend stay, but in heavy rain at night it would have been a nightmare, the small trolley provided was inadequate too small and the centre of gravity was too high so on the uneven ground it constantly wanted to tip over."

The pod itself was lovely bright and warm however it was cramped I think instead of the table and chairs which we couldn’t use a storage unit for clothes would be a better use of the space and a couple of robust lap trays for eating while sat on the sofa (which is where we ate all our meals) would have been good, also the pod is really only fit to sleep 2 people but there is cutlery and plates bowls glasses for 4 or more and it was unnecessary and made it cluttered and busy however the addition of a bread/ carving knife would have been welcome as trying to cut fresh crusty bread with a steak knife wasn’t pretty, with all that said we did enjoy our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it or stay again, and thank you for all the effort made to get the hot tub up and running it was fantastic.
