  • "Nice little cottage."

Very cosy. It contains everything one needs for a pleasant stay. Parking is a bit awkward, but not impossible. Walks, restaurants, gardens, stately homes and towns for shopping are not too far away. Would stay there again.

  • "A lovely old cottage that has been sympathetically renovated and has all you need for a comfortable stay ."

Extremely clean and a very substantial welcome pack provided and even one for the dog. Ideal base for exploring the surrounding area plenty of walks for the dog and the meadow opposite the cottage ideal for early morning and bedtime walks. Good amenities in Broseley can recommend Clays restaurant and The Butchers Kitchen also a good choice of eateries in Ironbridge just a short walk away but a very steep climb back. The cottage is situated on a very narrow lane and whilst there is parking opposite the cottage it is only suitable for smaller vehicles and not for instance an SUV I think this info should be included in the property description. We had a very pleasant stay and very much enjoyed the area and all the locals were extremely friendly.

  • "Very nice little cottage in a quiet location."

Had everything we could need.only 2 of us with dog but could accommodate 4. Lots of unexpected little extras eg dog treats, towels including for dog, local basket of food ,biscuits, coffees, jams etc, bathroom toiletries and cleaning pack. Ideally located in walking distance of ironbridge gorge if you are relatively fit with Riverside pubs with a pasture for dog walk directly opposite.

  • "Enjoyed our break."

Great welcome pack and all facilities were there. Lots to do locally and the field opposite was perfect for dog walking. We enjoyed eating at the Butchers Kitchen in The town centre. Great value for Sunday Lunch.

The welcome hamper is the best we have ever received. We would happily stay there again.

  • "A superb cottage, in a lovely quiet location, semi rural, yet within a 10 minute walk to the shops."

Very close to Benthall Hall and Ironbridge and also the field across from the cottage is ideal for the dogs early morning run. The cottage was immaculate and very clean and sunny, so with such lovely weather we could choose to have a glass of wine in the back or front garden. More ideal for two or a young family . Also the parking could be tricky, however a great cottage. Thank you so much for the welcoming pack, extremely generous and much appreciated.

  • "We had a lovely stay at Meadowside Cottage."

The cottage is stylish and comfortable and the welcome pack very generous and much appreciated, with local treats that were delicious. The field across the road was perfect for a gentle walk for our elderly dog. The location is great with a pleasant 15 minute walk down the hill to Ironbridge, but slightly harder work back uphill, but we’ll worth the walk to be able to enjoy in the pubs and restaurants without worrying about driving. Broseley is a great base to stay with a couple of nice restaurants and not far to Much Wenlock which is worth a visit.

  • "Absolutely loved the cottage - wonderful, eclectic furnishings."

Comfy bed, good strong shower & sharp kitchen knives - ticked all our boxes, plus a real fire; what more could you want? Loads to see in the area and great walking. Much Wenlock is a very interesting place & well worth a visit. For an excellent meal with friendly staff, we can recommend the Raven there.

Will definitely be looking to stay again. The cottage was very clean with everything we needed and the beds were very comfortable. The welcome pack was such a lovely gesture and the doggie pack was a hit with our dog

  • "What a lovely little cottage!"

The owners went above and beyond with the thoughtful welcome pack full of local fare, and even a welcome pack for the dog. We had a lovely time at Meadowside. Ironbridge was within walking distance and we enjoyed exploring the local area. The dog enjoyed running about in the field opposite the cottage. Beds were super comfortable. Everything needed was supplied. Thoroughly recommend this property.

  • "We loved loved loved our little home for the weekend."

Its small but has everything you need to enjoy your break. Everything is well set up, the house is decorated beautifully, the shower pressure is wonderful! The only thing I would add to the list of instructions is to enter Speeds Lane from the High Street, rather than the other end, its all very tight on the roads around Broseley. We have family in Telford and look forward to coming back to Meadowside Cottage for our next visit.

  • "This was a well appointed cottage in a lovely setting."

The hosts were generous with the food and the toiletries that were left. Our elderly dog was unable to manage the steps to the garden but very much enjoyed the meadow which was across the road.

  • "Delightful little cottage with lovely view from main bedroom over the meadow."

Very clean and comfortable. Very pretty little garden (steep access for anyone elderly). Fantastic welcome pack - the best we've had anywhere. No problem with parking opposite on the narrow road, but if you are very precious about your car, best you park on the top of the road as the road the cottage is in is full of deep pot holes. Would certainly recommend Meadowside Cottage for a couple. Broseley is a very friendly old fashioned, small town / village, but due to Covid restrictions some businesses were not yet reopened limiting what was available locally; however you don't have to travel far to find what you might need.
