“Adequate enough but could be improved.”

We have stayed here 3 times mainly because of the ideal situation. (Walks along the river to some great pubs and museums straight from the front door) I feel the property needs some TLC. The double bed (asI have mentioned before) was very uncomfortable and stained too! Overcame the problem by using a single quilt to cover the mattress. The mugs in the kitchen stained and poor quality. Extractor fan in the kitchen broken. Lights not working in places. Shower over bath just about adequate Quite expensive now so not good value for money. We love the area so will look for another property next time.

The gorge is a now a maze of footpaths, bridleways and country lanes whilst the delightful village is famous for being home of the world's first iron-built bridge, built between 1777-79. The village has a splendid variety of pubs, restaurants, shops and tea rooms and a collection of ten industrial and Victorian themed museums makes up the Ironbridge Museums Trust, including the exciting Blists Hill Victorian Village. Within driving distance are the popular historical towns of Shrewsbury, Bridgnorth, Much Wenlock and Ludlow, as well as the Wroxeter Roman City, the Severn valley Railway, the RAF Cosford Museum and many National Trust properties.
