    “Half term family break”

    We really enjoyed our stay at the Armoury - well equipped with plenty of room and a great view over Ironbridge.

    We really enjoyed our stay at the Armoury - well equipped with plenty of room and a great view over Ironbridge. It’s ideally located to walk to most museums in and around Ironbridge, with plenty of choices for places to eat & drink. Will definitely be returning!

The property

This fabulous one bedroom apartment rests in an old converted armoury just three minutes from the centre of Ironbridge town centre.

Cosy and inviting for couples or friends, The apartment is a beautiful place to stay, an open-plan accommodation refurbished to a wonderful standard.

The living area comprises a sofa bed and a modern, L-shaped kitchen, whether you are settling down on the comfy sofa after an eventful day, or gathering at the fashionable dining table, you will appreciate the light, airy ambience which flows throughout the interior.

From here, discover the lovely bedroom, designed in a neutral overtone, with pretty bedding, storage space and high ceilings resting above.

You could even choose the sofa bed for a peaceful night's sleep.

Whatever you decide, make yourselves right at home.

What better way to wake up than with views of the Ironbridge Gorge to admire, a charm-filled backdrop to compliment your stay.

The apartment is finished with an immaculate walk-in shower room.

The village features a splendid variety of pubs, restaurants, shops and tea rooms and a collection of ten industrial and Victorian themed museums which make up the Ironbridge Museums Trust, including the exciting Blists Hill Victorian Village.

Within driving distance are the popular historical towns of Shrewsbury, Bridgnorth, Much Wenlock and Ludlow, as well as the Wroxeter Roman City, the Severn valley Railway, the RAF Cosford Museum and many National Trust properties.

The gorge is a now a maze of footpaths, bridleways and country lanes whilst the delightful village is famous for being home of the world's first iron-built bridge, built between 1777-79.
